Sadly, this can't be done on the BR80 - but you can record internal microphones and Line-In at the same time.

I see them as a convenience rather than a limitation because I'd only have to push one track button to arm a pair of tracks for stereo recording, and I'd only have to adjust one fader. Each new song has its own folder, so the audio files are backed up, as are any necessary settings, including effects.When doing the final mix, the four selected tracks can be bounced down to a new stereo file, via a choice of mastering processors that can add polish to the end result. The BR-80 still wins for recording guitar, bass, and vocals… as well as the immediacy/fun factor, but in hindsight, I think its limitations would frustrate, just like they did the last time I owned one. The vocal effect chain is a little simpler, with compression, enhancer, EQ, noise suppression and delay but, again, there's also the overall reverb that can be used to add individual amounts of Hall or Room reverb to the four audio tracks and to the rhythm track.
