With lower emissions and better fuel consumption than earlier models, the 3.0 litre turbo diesel is one of the best performers in the BMW X5 range. Inside the X5 SE the finish and attention to detail is amongst the best available and the quiet and smooth drive quality makes it easy to forget that this is actually a 4x4.
