I love the witty banter between the characters, the story is just wonderful, it captures and ignites your imagination with its clever plot and dynamic characters. Though I did enjoy some of the other characters in the book, and Amelia's side of the story was interesting.Pringle stories are repeats from other Fairacre books, but I enjoyed the snippets about her childhood and young adulthood. She is without family and her friends can't help, so she has no choice but to reach out to Everett who has offered her a place to stay. It was a true delight to get lost in the story with the well drawn characters and defined settings that let me fall into the book so that I felt I was there.
