After lighting (and once the twigs are burning well) place three or four long (>30cm) pieces of wood through the hole at the front, directly on top of the smaller pieces of wood.

To get around this, I fashioned supports from coat hangers (you can see them in the pictures) and then went on to develop a ‘grill’ plate that I can put on the top so that I can barbeque fish/meat directly over the flame.

Nonetheless, the Lixada Titanium Folding Wood Stove remains an excellent choice for those seeking a lightweight and environmentally friendly cooking solution. It’s little more than a hinged stainless steel unit with one corner that connects into a square that is held together with small metal tabs. If you don’t want to actually burn wood in the stove, it doubles as a reasonable pot holder for a trangia-style alcohol stove (see pictures). STURDY STRUCTURE: Strong stainless steel construction creates a stable platform for your cookware, very durable.

This stove is built with titanium construction that is corrosion-resistant, extremely durable and super light. It doesn’t come with instructions but if you cannot figure out how it goes together then you should not be playing with fire. You can reverse the fire nest to enable you to either use the bowl provided (I use this to hold my fatwood scrapings in) for burning meth’s or whack a burner in there.
