Probably the biggest con for me with the Arena Power Pro fins is the cost. They can be very pricey compared to other fins. However, with how long they last when taken care of, some may argue that the price is worth it. Again, I want to stress that the weight of these fins isn’t a significant amount. However, if you’re used to longer and/or lighter fins, they may feel heavier when you first start using them. Price

Next up is the design. You want to make sure that the gear you choose is made from the high-grade material that is also breathable and long-lasting. Is that too much to ask for? Not at all. Your comfort is the number one priority when it comes to an enjoyable swimming session, and the quality of your swimming fins can either foster or hinder it. Apart from the fins’ material, you must also take note of their stylistic elements. For instance, an open toe facilitates the overall comfort when under the water, whereas a closed heel firmly secures your foot in the fin without giving it a chance to slip off. Blade Size The Elite Hand Paddles have a flat design allowing you to better control the water entry and improve your technique. The hand paddles feature multiple strap positioning makes them easy to wear and assist with stroke technique allowing you to improve. The TYR Crossblade Fin is longer than other fins on this list, but we don’t classify it as a ‘long fin’. This means you can still get some speed work out of the fins and build up your length strength.Arena’s Powerfin Pro is one of the best fins out there. It’s my go-to fin for practice and the majority of my team uses them. That said, if your mainstroke is breaststroke or you’re an avid IM swimmer, it would be worth investing in these fins. In college, I used a pair of blue and white FINIS Zoomers and hated them with a passion. They were stiff, inflexible, and gave me blisters every time I wore them. Sizes run from XXS – XXL and are color-coded by size. This makes them super easy to your size in a pile of fins. Swimming with fins is something every swimmer should add to their workout. Even if it’s just for a couple of hundreds. Fins help you:

One thing I will note is that due to the heavier material, new fins can be stiff when you first start wearing them. As they’re not broken in, the top part of the fin may feel stiff and can put pressure on the top of your foot. Throughout the years, I’ve tried numerous swim fins from FINIS Zoomers to TYR Crossblade Swim Fins. All have left my feet blistered and in pain, until I tried the Arena Power Pro Fin and finally found the perfect fins for my feet. Some swimmers may also find that Speedo’s Switchblades are a bit heavy. New fins may be a bit stiff until they’re broken in and the rubber has a chance to soften. It depends on what type of swimmer you are. We only recommend long fins for young, beginner, and recreational swimmers. These fins are made from 100% silicone for a comfortable fit that conforms to your feet in time. The silicone is less likely to rub and cause blisters than rubber material.Fit:One of the key features of these fins is their comfort. A state-of-the-art comfort fit allows for a snug and secure fin on your feet. Swim fins as a whole are relatively easy to use. The design of the open heel on these fins makes them pretty easy to slip on and off. Especially when you’re in a hurry. In terms of heel design, there are 2 styles. Unlike the blade length or shape, the heel design depends more on your preference than the level of your swimming. There is no doubt that swimming with fins can help you train at paces otherwise impossible. When you train with a pair of fins, you can train at race pace (or faster), even if you’re fatigued and untapered. The original Cobra goggles are suitable for those faithful to the classic arena Cobra design or that was to join the Cobra line at an appealing price.
