Description

Such accidents remind us of the importance of keeping hot foods or liquids out of the reach of kids and being aware of their whereabouts. this method has not only allowed Shiloh to sleep really well at night, but it brought a little bit of structure back to MY life. There are a lot of basics in here which I found helpful but what I love most about this book are the schedules and routines. I don’t completely agree with regimenting babies’ schedules, but it’s good to know where the ballpark estimate is! I do find the schedules helpful as a guideline to what baby's day might look like at different stages, but I wish the authors acknowledged that different babies have different sleep needs and the schedules won't work for everyone!

There was no presentation of evidence to support their recommendations so it's a little hard to take seriously. With the backdrop of white noise, a brief rock in your arms can be the final lullaby before they're off to dreamland. I start work back up in two weeks and I don’t know how I’m going to perform when I’m getting about 4 to 5 hours of sleep every night. for us (and EVERY baby is different), it took about 2-3 weeks of consistency before i started seeing significant improvement with Shiloh’s sleep. Sometimes a book goes temporarily out of print - and sometimes no audio version has ever been recorded.I remember being pregnant and opening the first few pages of the 0-6 months edition , realizing it contained simple lists and explanations for how to handle different stages of my child’s development, and feeling relieved. All the advice is geared towards raising a baby in the easiest way for you, to the detriment of your baby.

Plus, with lifetime access, you will have all the time in the world to enjoy this content at your own pace (and refresh your knowledge for your next little one)! Everything that modern parents need to know about caring for babies in the first 6 months, step-by-step guidelines for getting babies on a routine, hour-by-hour schedules at a glance, symptoms that warrant a trip to the emergency room and feeding instructions for breast, bottle and both! I went to every OB and ultrasound appointment alone and felt rushed out of the room even though my appointments were already less than 10 minutes long. This book does seem like one I would refer back to often though, especially if we want to try a formed schedule.

Navigating the path of parenthood is filled with its ups and downs, but with these helpful hints, the journey through the nights can hopefully be a little more restful for both you and your baby. The schedules and tips are so concise and helpful - and allow you to create a routine for your child that allows you to have both predictability AND flexibility when you need to.
