Ok, so we might be showing our age here but the NERF Rival Charger conjures memories of the infamous SBP90 machine guns in TimeSplitters – the resemblance is uncanny! The similarities don’t just stop with look either, the Charger is a compact semi-automatic blasting meany! Whoever cooked this motorized NERF gun up must be a fan of the classic from Free Radical. It can get frustrating when you can’t troubleshoot the nerf gun. In reality, the problems regarding the mastodon can be solved easily!

Your nerf mega mastodon might not get power sometimes. For instance, it does not receive power after turning it on. No power results in a non-functional gun. Issue 2: The Gun Not Shooting

The 12-inch darts it shoots are made of one-and-a-half-inch PVC pipe covered in a pool noodle and topped off with a special 3D-printed cap.

Coming to the lading process with MEGA Mastodon, it’s super simple. Just need you to locate the opening of the cylinder front and push some mega darts inside. Use your hand for rotating the cylinder if it needs to.

If it’s not for someone less in height, there’s no need for a shoulder strap. But for a kid, the straps are fantastic to provide extra support while carrying. But someone taller can simply hold it a bit in front for good aiming. Waist level can provide better results as MEGA Mastodon is not a sighting at cheek height type of blaster. The overall design somehow makes you want to get serious about nerfing. It’s very purposeful in the outlook for some reason. The swivel handle is there for carrying the behemoth. An adjustable nylon shoulder strap is also available for optional use. Loading this blaster will take some time as each of the 24 dart slots must be manually loaded at the front of the blaster – one at a time.

There might be some very simple reasons behind the nerf mega mastodon not powering up. Defective or worn-out batteries may cause this problem. If there is no power in the battery, the gun won’t power on. Solution This problem is a very common one among all nerf guns. Sometimes the guns fail to shoot out the darts. This massive Nerf sniper is powered by a Tippman 3000 psi air tank that can shoot up to 80 psi per shot. This thing is big… Seriously, photos don’t really do it justice. Pulling it out of the box, the main part of the gun is already in one (huge) piece. However, the Mastodon does require more assembly – probably by an adult – than any other NERF blaster I can recall. To make life easier, we have selected the best automatic NERF guns on the market and highlighted some of their killer features. Without knowing the reasons you will not be able to solve the problem. Let’s have a look at them. Reason 1: Dead Batteries It is always a great enjoyment and loads of fun using the nerf mastodon. However, like every other machinery, you can have problems with it.

The gun includes two tactical rails for any Rival attachments—one under the top front handle and another at the very bottom center of the gun. Coming in at around 5.4 pounds, the NERF Hyper Mach 100 is the largest gun in the Hyper series. This is a fully-automatic blaster with an integrated 100-round hopper (note, it only comes with 80 rounds, so you may need a top-up); so if you are looking to make a splash on the blasting field and absolutely dominate your enemies, this is a good place to start! As a fully-automatic blaster, the Select is going to burn through your NERF ammo but thanks to the inclusion of a novel clip selector, you can load up two 10 dart clips at one time. Once you have exhausted your first clip move the clip selector handle (located just under the barrel) to instantly switch to a fresh magazine. Not only does the clip selector mean you don’t have to worry about reloading for a while but it also allows for some very strategic thinking. The Select comes with both 10 standard, long distance, ULTRA darts and special AccuStrike ULTRA darts which are designed for precision; it won’t matter if your enemy is near or far, no one is going to be able to escape you now! However, when it comes to ground-level parallel firing, the MEGA Mastodon is a bomb! It definitely excels with the Mega Darts in this area. As the range is around 40 to 50 feet. You don’t have to aim high. And there are no darts arcing down too. The NERF Ultra Select is the the first full-automatic ULTRA NERF gun– combining the phenomenal firing distance of the Ultra series with the max-terror only inspired by full-auto carnage. The rotary cylinder can be jammed for some reason. When the dart drum is jammed, it doesn’t rotate. This prevents the gun from shooting. Solution If you do elevate the barrel to increase the distance, though, you add only around 20 feet, where you can sometimes get another 50 feet from Elite darts. Swings and roundabouts, in other words; the Mastodon is good for short to medium distances, but no sniper or long-range artillery rifle.
