As of the 2021-22 NBA season, we classify Luka Doncic’s rookie cards as Low Risk with Low to Moderate Upside potential. We believe there is little risk that Doncic will be a perennial NBA All-Star. Along with that, we expect Doncic to make multiple NBA Championship runs and be a Hall of Fame contender at the end of his career. As a result, we expect Doncic to be collectible long-term and therefore, there is likely relatively low risk in purchasing his rookie cards.
