Description

The thing is, I feel like the only reason people read these Twisted Tale books is to see an alternate version of what the movie could have been. So when Belle's mother says that Belle will eventually marry the Beast because they love each other, are you trying to tell me that Belle is going to marry an 11 year old? I don't want to spoil too much, but I think it's safe to say that from there on out it goes in a new direction. For example, we don't get a be our guest scene, but we do get a here's some food and wine and no we are not talking to you about anything.

Embark on a thrilling adventure with this beautifully produced hardback edition of the popular Disney Twisted Tale. I saw so many mixed reviews (okay, mostly negative), but I didn't let that cloud my judgment at all. The 3rd installment in the New York Times best-selling A TWISTED TALE series asks: What if Belle's mother cursed the Beast? The first book in this series about Aladdin was a huge disappointment, but the second one about Aurora was actually very good (though it seems most everyone else doesn't agree with me on that). As the years passed, he fell into despair and lost all hope- for who could ever leave to love a beast? La trama se tuerce de forma inesperada y no te esperas todo lo que ocurre después y la manera en que finaliza la vida de sus personajes principales y secundarios.

When he asks her if she will be able to change his whole kingdom and servants back too she says she only has enough magic for them or him so he must choose. The story starts out with the reader following the story of Maurice and Rosalind (Belle’s mother) as they settle down to raise a family.Instead of Belle breaking the curse by seeing past his imperfections and professing her love for the Beast, Belle and the Beast must work together to break the curse and uncover something that goes further than a cursed enchanted castle. Y ese finaaaaal, para mi es de las cosas mas importantes en un libro y aquí los últimos capítulos no deja el corazón en las manos. Used books have different signs of use and might not include supplemental materials such as CDs, Dvds, Access Codes, charts or any other extra material. I could go on and on and on about how disappointing this book is (inane Doctor Who references, sexism, fourth-grade reading level language), but I better stop.

The author didn’t fix Disney’s mistakes and inconsistencies, took all magic and wonder out of it, and didn't expound more on the characters or the story backdrop. Haven't finished reading it but so far I love it and definitely plan to read other books in the series.I think my favorite part, though, was how the author wrapped up all the plotholes from the movie and answered all the questions.

The book feels like a Disney film when you read it (maybe only die hard Disney fans will understand this , but it feels like it contains Disney magic. In the end, Belle's mother is weakened so much that she can either revert the servants to their human forms or make the Beast human alone. She is foolish at times, but that's charming--she can't be perfect, which makes her more human than the cardboard cutouts of earlier Disney heroines. During the first 40% of the book Belle looks down her nose on everyone from her high horse and gives no thought to the consequences of her actions, she’s pretentious, arrogant, and condescending. Because books can dig deeper on characterization than film, you really get to know this book's version of Beast far better than the film version.Just like in the first two installments, the story follows the movie plot up until one crucial moment, and then completely derails. and she figured out the Beast's past and that the enchantress who cursed Prince Adam, was her own mother. At the core the book was a retelling of a fairytale and while Braswell was using the Disney movie as a template there were plenty of jumping off points that could’ve made the story interesting.
