Incredibly versatile. Whether you’re wanting to make the most of summer by cooking on the patio, looking to spend a few nights under canvas, or are heading to a festival - the Campingaz Party Grill 600 will meet all your cooking requirements.Both grills have temperature control to give you more flexibility whilst cooking, and they also both come with a handy carrier bag. All the cooking components look and feel like good quality - the only thing that lets the Party Grills down are their plastic ignition cases, which looks and feels cheap, and the casing kept opening up slightly. This was especially true on the 400, and the clips that keep the whole thing together kept coming apart as well. This was a worrying flaw that made me distrust how secure the lid was whilst transporting it.

The children all decided they wanted pizza and dough balls, so pizza and dough balls it was to be!! You can actually buy a Pizza Stone for cooking on but we didn’t do too badly using the grill and the plancha. This gave the pizzas a very crispy base but the children ate the lot which in our book is a huge thumbs up because they will not eat anything if it’s not 100% right. Spaghetti Bolognese Usually, the pre-made pizza bases don't turn out so well at home, so we often make our own. But with the pizza stone, the pizzas turned out great. Like with most camping stoves, it's hard to get the Party Grill to cook well at a very low temperature for cooking low and slow, but for easy pot meals, BBQs or cooking up veggies in the wok, the Party Grill proved very effective. While its compact size means there isn't space to make huge grilled meals at once, the Party Grill 400 is ideal for feeding four or five people. If you do want something a bit roomier, a larger 600 version of the Party Grill is available and has taller legs, but is still pleasingly portable. The lid has a handy built-in temperature display which means you could use it as an oven if you’re feeling adventurous, and we’ve even heard of people using a pizza stone on the Party Grill to create their own pizzas when camping. Should I buy one?Ideally, when camping, you want the same bit of kit to do many different things to reduce the amount of stuff you need to take.
