Of course, the thing that really draws your eye when you look at this is the absolutely terrible front. The 2006 Sail barge had a very inventive way of making the sailbarge, which effectively is an upside down boat look like an upside down boat: they took boat pieces and put them upside down. There’s really not a lot I can say about this character. While I love to see yet another obscure character get made, and they did a good job on his head, the rest of him is a little bit… blue (dark azure, technically). I get that the character is totally naked and blue, I would have liked to see a bit of detail on the torso or legs. While missing the rest of the band, he’s a great figure but could be a lot more. LEGO collectors are never happy, so now that we have Max, we need to demand some Sy Snoodles or a Joh Yowza (wow, I’m sliding away from normal nerdocity into “how did you ever get married?” nerdocity, aren’t I), or at the very least, access to some Bith figures.

We're at a stage now where we're applying the paint and doing the deco,” Evans says. Just narrowing down the color scheme from a palette of browns, grays, reds, and yellows took hours of careful consideration. “It's a very long process, but one that hopefully should look every natural and very fluid.” At this time fans were abuzz about speculating the next “big” vehicle. Jabba’s Sail Barge was always at the top of the list. However, Hasbro had long denied the possibility of producing a faithful Sail Barge due to the high cost of tooling, and thereby high price point that the vehicle would demand. The sails are plastic now, instead of the fabric we got with the old one. They’re also a bit smaller, so you can’t just swap the sails out if you get it (you can, however, swap the entire mounts between them). In the case of Jabba's barge, it's been 35 years people have been asking us to make it,” Ninivaggi notes. “We make a lot of awesome products and we're proud of the line we make and it's certainly size able. But there are the ones that got away, the ones that we can't get to.”

Honestly, the worst thing about this feature is that it takes away from look and design of the set, chews up piece count that could have been used elsewhere to give us a much better model. It used to be that the use of the big, ugly corner slopes is what really bugged me. Then I built the set, and realized that they were just someone being lazy after having a model ruined. Later in the war, Fortuna greeted two droid visitors to his master's palace. The two mechanical units, called C-3PO and R2-D2, claimed that they had a gift for the Hutt. The majordomo demanded that they hand over that gift to him so he could bring it to Jabba himself, but the droids answered that their instructions were to give it only to the crime lord himself. Fortuna relented, and led the droids into the throne room, where they delivered a holographic message from their owner, the Rebel hero and fledgling Jedi Luke Skywalker. In the message, Skywalker asked to bargain for the life of his friend Han Solo, offering C-3PO and R2-D2 in exchange. [7]Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of Star Wars: Han Solo & Chewbacca to between around 8 BBY and 2 BBY. Where to Look: 7 minutes, 5 seconds — Bib Fortuna greets C-3PO and R2-D2 upon entering Jabba’s palace. Early glimpses at the 3D modeling for the ship reveal a baby rancor scaling the side of Jabba's lounge wall, an armory, and intricate murals and grisly trophies reminiscent of his other favorite decoration -- Captain Solo in carbonite.
