Description

The spiciness here can be offputting if you aren't accustomed to it as it is not a typical vanilla forward frag by any means; and it is not distinctly sweet either. Like most lataffa fragrances, at first it doesn’t have great performance but after a few weeks it seems to last longer due to maceration . We recommend checking the list of product ingredients directly on its packaging due to potential changes. I've smelled more than enough fragrances to appreciate the good ones even when they don't mesh with my tastes.

I was tempted to sell on my bottle of this (as I found it a little too in your face) but I gave it a few extra chances and I appreciate more now. Compared to the "original", I think the Asad is a little warmer, especially in the drydown, where the intense spices of the elixir are replaced by vanilla. It was never bad, but it improved into something much better and a lot more characteristic than what it originally was, and it keeps improving. Thats a fact because I have elixir and spraying them side by side then smelling them both (in the same manner that you would smell on a person passing by on the streets) and they definitely smell identical.I honestly do not know what it is a clone of because it unlike other Lattafa fragrances I own (Kismet Angel and Ejazzi Intensive Silver) I rate it a 7. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Crafted with a meticulous selection of ingredients, including Labdanum, Dry Wood, and Amber, this scent unfolds into a symphony of sensual notes.

Some great, some not so much, but this was the first time that my immediate instinct was to gift it or throw it away. However, the difference between Khamrah and Asad is that I can see *why* Khamrah has the rep and following it does; it might not be my kind of scent profile*, but damn, does Lattafa do a great job with it.

Yara is an exquisite, high-end Arabic perfume, awaken your daring senses between tropical aromas, elegant aphrodisiac notes, and as the minutes go by you will feel sparkling sweet and warm tones with a powdery fresh seal. Upon first spray, a bold black pepper note pierces through, softened by a backdrop of ripe pineapple. With the Dior fresh on my mind, and the Asad freshly applied, I would say it is 90-95% the same thing. While it may not be an exact replica of Elixir, it encapsulates the essential components – the recognizable Sauvage DNA, the blend of spices, its masculine allure, versatility, a reliable atomizing spray, and an overall intricate fragrance. Its very masculine, but I can understand its not for everyone ( I personally don't like the original sauvages) but I have always been drawn to elixir, I just felt it was a bit too spicy.

So yes, it's strong the first couple of hours with that ashy note then after about the 4th hour has a warm vanilla note that sits close to the skin similar to elixir's nutmeg note. Recently I decided to start trying to layer it with fragrances more suitable to these early spring temperatures.

Asad is definitely going for the Elixir vibe here and very close at 80% with Elixir being very bright at the front end and higher quality throughout. It's as if Asad is a diluted version of Elixir, which, as some people mentioned, is not necessarily bad, because sometimes Elixir can be too much.Depois de alguns meses a admirar a caixa exterior, sem abrir, devido ao luxo que ela exibia, resolvi abrir. The opening of Asad is a little sharper/spicier, and I would say the drydown is a little sweeter, however, If I hadn't had the real thing on earlier today I don't know if I really would've been able to tell the difference. The Lattafa Asad Eau de Toilette will help you reveal the masculinity, strength and courage hidden inside you. The base notes grab your attention with the sweet combination of powdery amber, spicy vanilla and slightly caramelised benzoin, permeated with accords of dry wood and bitter labdanum. i have to say first i have OG elixir and wanted to try this one to have for ocassions where i dont want to spray 200euro fragrance.
