Finding out about your credit status
What to do if you have been denied credit
If you feel that you have been denied credit unreasonably
or otherwise wish to look at your credit file and/or improve
your credit profile, you can contact any of the 3 Credit
Reference Agencies listed below. There are other sites
that may claim to be able to do this for you, sometimes
at considerably more cost. The consensus of opinion throughout
the reputable companies in the finance and credit reference
business seems to be that this would be ill advised and
unlikely to produce the results you require. The companies
listed below are the ones used by reputable finance companies.
