Once the Cannon is in the drain line past the connection to the evaporator coil, simply press the trigger of the Gallo Gun. The Cannon will instantly inflate to create an air tight seal in the drain line and the force of the CO2 will clear the clogged drain line.

Insert the Gallo Gun Cannon into the tee or access opening on your drain line. Ensure that the Cannon is past the connection that leads into the evaporator. Environmentally Friendly – Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a common component of air, and so is totally safe. Because of the way our drain tube is installed, it is hard to focus air to the area that usually clogs. This device allows me to shoot a burst of air into just the part of the pipe that gets clogged. The hose is not long, but I just need to get a couple inches past the join that comes from the main unit. The Gallo Gun is a wonderful alternative to the environmentally unfriendly practice of using refrigerant to clean the drain line. In the past, it was easy to clean the drain pipe with a vinegar solution every month. This summer season was different and seemed to cause more build up in our line. While I tried using a shop vac and other methods to unclog the drain pipe, it didn't seem to do as well as the commercial drain cleaner.
