I would use this in any season but summer (too spicy and too much of a juxtaposition of summer citrus scents). The opening was strong and can become quite potent; it was as if you have sprayed too much of the perfume.

On my skin the orange curacao is pretty strong at first, but then I start noticing the cardamom, vanilla, honeysuckle, and jasmine.I smell the citrus, and it just has a nostalgic scent to him, which is something that I really go for in a perfume. So, now I think in some ways it's quite likeable but still, it's not dissimilar to many other sweet.

My wife was a huge fan of Alfred Sung Shi and that has been her signature scent for years but this one is quickly winning that battle and has taken top spot in her rotation. The sharpness hangs around longer in cold weather and it's a bit screechy so this is a summer evening sort of scent to me!When I first purchased this I was expecting something old school masculine and heavily spicy because that's how a lot of reviews described it, I found that is not the case. I think it is linked to the fact that I changed my location and thus the weather-so I BELIEVE it works very good in fall/winter and not in sweaty warm weather. These notes blend together to become a rich multi-faceted fragrance experience that will get you head turning looks for hours to come. After awhile the musk becomes more prominent and this smells like a slightly spicy cousin of Gaultier 2.

The sillage is lovely and I really like the cedar I detect in the drydown that tempers the vanilla a bit. I only wish cardamom, jasmine and I could go all Mean Girls with that trio and be like, "You can't sit with us. I have yet to test it on my skin, but I'm convinced that what I smelled in the vial is actually how this perfume is meant to be experienced.Maybe it's my body chemistry working really well with this, but it's well worth the cost (it's not expensive at all). The sweetness is a lovely caramel and vanilla with warm spices and when you think you will get overwhelmed by the sweetness, there comes the mouthwatering citrus to save the day and make you want more of the sweetness.

She starts out sharp and boozy the florals start developing after a while with the vanilla at the very end.
