Description

When cars explode, debris flies everywhere as though pieces of metal were raining down into the living room. This makes him less sympathetic for the first half (especially the way he treats Bruce Spence’s The Gyro Captain) but it makes him feel like a more believable character especially after seeing how selfish people have behaved over the past few years. Our mission at AV NIRVANA is to pursue audio and video systems that deliver extraordinary satisfaction, allowing one to transcend the ordinary while becoming completely and blissfully engaged by music and movies. However, there is an ingenious theme brewing beneath all the bedlam, as if deliberately contradicting Jean Baudrillard's sentiment of a modernity with more information but less meaning. It's a war that must be seen to be believed, a road-scorching, neo-punk, take-no-prisoner combat set in a postapocalyptic Australia.

Also, despite contrast looking pretty good, a majority of the video noticeably runs hot, so much so that large portions of the picture and several action sequences appear distractingly exaggerated.Hardy does his usual mumbling once again spending the majority of a movie with his face covered but he does bring a jitteriness to the character making him feel unpredictable and indeed possibly mad. Set in a desolate desert wasteland, the story follows Max (Hardy), who, following the murder of his wife and child, has been captured by a gang, led by the tyrannical Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). And like the films which preceded it, this fourth entry in the series is a spectacular display of humanity barely surviving on the brink of extinction. Where the world has gone post-apocalyptic, and the survivors live under the rule of warlords and savages while driving nitrous fueled muscle cars and serve as vicious "war boys" to their masters.

Mad Max is crisp and clean with terrific detail, skin textures, bike leathers, tyre tracks, dirt and grime; everything is keen with fine edges. Detail is fantastic, the grime on the cars, the rips in leather, scruffy hair, the tarmac on the road, sand grains, whips of vegetation in the desert; stunning stuff. Watching Furiosa and Max interact at the beginning of the film, and then watch their characters form a bond under the heat of battle. Pretty much EVERY car explosion, every stunt, every flip of a vehicle was all done with real cars, real wirework, and real booms.Extras: Language(s): English, 4K: Spanish-Castilian, Czech, German, Hungarian, Italian, Spanish-Latin, French-Parisian, Polish, BD: Portuguese-Brazilian, Spanish-Castilian, French, Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English, German, Italian, Subtitles: 4K: Spanish-Castilian, Complex Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Hungarian, Korean, Spanish-Latin, Norwegian, French-Parisian, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Swedish; BD: Arabic, Portuguese-Brazilian, Spanish-Castilian, Complex Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Icelandic, Korean, Spanish-Latin, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Interactive Menu, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital 1. There are some decent enough effects, vehicles, gun shots and crashes etc that have good separation. We can also make out each crease and furrow in the aged leather of everyone's outfit, and facial complexions are highly revealing with healthy, lifelike textures in the entire cast. Absolutely FANTASTIC Service, bought and paid for on Friday morning and arrived on Saturday morning!

At a time when CGI is all too prolific, Miller went back to what made his films stand out, everything is done for real, and it shows. As soon as Max explains he exists somewhere between the dead and the living, the Australian-born filmmaker kicks it into high gear, tightly gripping the back of the audience's neck and doesn't let go until the last final minutes. The disc itself is the exact same disc that was released back in 2016, and that was a bit weak in the 4K UHD department, even if it carries the same picture perfect audio of the Blu-ray. Immediately apparent is the increase in detail and improved clarity, offering several stunning and revealing moments that astonish similarly to its Blu-ray counterpart. This site is a destination for AV enthusiasts to share experiences, opinions, and ideas with others, eschewing egotistical debate, with an end goal of helping each other design and tweak systems to reach this “nirvanic” state. But, Max and Furiosa, nonetheless, charge towards the perilous challenge head on and come out in the end with a few cuts and bruises. When the action starts, it explodes with a huge wall of sound, showcasing excellent movement between all three front channels and the two front heights. When the warrior Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) leads the despot’s five wives in a daring escape, she forges an alliance with Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), a loner and former captive. In the opening moments, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), seen staring out into a lifeless desert abyss and munching on raw mutant lizard, announces that crazy is the new norm in a wasteland created by the careless pillaging of Earth's natural resources and atomic wars. Everything is just a nonstop cacophony of incredibly nuanced noises that really give the movie that surge of excitement.

Other titles include Paramount Home Entertainment's Academy Award-winning Selma, a wide release of Universal and DreamWorks' Munich, and Warner Home Entertainment's . In the ravaged near future, a vengeful Australian police officer sets out to stop a violent motorcycle gang. Toecutter and his cronies are incredibly unsettling and outlandish characters just out to make people’s lives miserable, so watching them get what they deserve in the end is incredibly satisfying. Maximum Fury (HD, 29 min) — Precisely as the title suggests, the piece is a thorough look at the production, particularly on the visual design, the amazing stunt work, endless amount of preparation, practical effects and the deliberate approach of using as little CGI as possible. Mad Max: The Road Warrior – Same as previous releases, an Introduction by Leonard Maltin, an Audio Commentary by George Miller and the Road War: The Making of The Road Warrior feature. From the exterior chrome and the tools decorating the interior to individual bolts and nuts holding the Frankenstein-like monsters together, the tiniest imperfections in each vehicle are as clear as day, showing lots of wear and tear, scratches and abrasions from previous action, and small spots of discoloration and faded paint. Keeping the characters real, their actions natural but being set in a larger-than-life world, Max regains some of his humanity it the form of protector, giving excuse to the mayhem and purpose to the narrative. The film STILL holds a 98% on rottentomatoes and I haven't found more than a handful of professional reviews that has anything bad to say about the movie. For the week of May 5th, Shout Factory is bringing a new edition of the classic actioner Mad Max to Blu-ray. Amid the mayhem, vocals remain distinct and precise so that we can hear every emotional conversation and even Tom Hardy's muddled lines.
