Description

Um die Vielseitigkeit des NT5 zu erweitern, ist eine austauschbare Kapsel mit Kugelrichtung ( NT45-O) auch separat erhältlich. It has a frequency response of 20 Hz- 20 kHz condenser that lets microphones be employed in a large range of applications like capturing of vocals as well as Instruments. It also enables the NT5 to capture any type of recording. Do you prefer doing stereo recordings with two separate mics or with one dual-capsule mic? With their NT4 and NT5 models, Rode cater for both techniques. The Rode NT5 does not have a pop filter but it does have a windscreen you can use to prevent some sort of unnecessary side noise. To make things less shaky, using a mic stand is a plus in making your condenser mic sound better. Finally, let your studio or wherever you are recording be a good place for you to record, from the atmosphere to how calm it is everything should be in place.

I bought a matched pair of Rode NT5 from Thomann and I have been using them for quite a while now. I use these microphones in several scenarios, in my post-production and location recording work I use these mics for dialogue and foley recording and they sound absolutely amazing. Very low noise and excellent frequency response, they have never gone wrong in any situation so far. I use these mice as a stereo pair for my drums overhead as well, they sound bright and crisp and works well with the type of music I produce. So if you are after a bright and crisp sounding for your cymbals and general drum kit sound I'd recommend these rodes NT5. Read our article on Audio-Technica AT2020 vs AT2035 Microphone Comparison + Review as well for a valuable resource.I also used one of them to record acoustic guitar, a cheap squire one, and it sounded amazing as well - it was also just thrown in front of it with not much thought going into placement. When price is taken into account, the Rode M5 wins this battle, especially considering that the difference in audio quality, while noticeable, isn’t anything to write home about. If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered It results in a maximum transmission quality due to the mounted capsule and the features of the SMD board. That being said, it’s also true that the Rode NT5 is a more durable option. It’s made to be a little sturdier, so you may feel more comfortable carrying it around with you. Conclusion

of guitar and vocal as one organic mix beautifully. they are crystal claer with great presence if positioned about two feet away on a stereo bar. I previously usd a pair of Audio-Technica AT-4031 small diaphgram mics. They were nice too but did not have the overall depth of the Rodes and the sensitivity in my opinion. In particular, these mics capture vocals so very well for a small diaphgram microphone when recording this way. I have not tried recordng wth the avaialble omni capsules but my do so in the future. I was surprised to see that a few of the revierwers felt the NT-5s were overly bright. i find the overall sound full and blanced tone wise and I think The case you use to carry your NT5 has an extra space in it in case you want to use it to carry other microphones. It's probably still true that the most popular way of miking in stereo is to use a coincident pair of cardioid mics, though setting up the mics in a stable fashion usually involves specialist mounting bars or other hardware. Rode have provided an alternative in the NT4, a dedicated stereo microphone comprising two cardioid heads mounted at the end of a single body and fixed in close proximity to each other with a 90 degree angle between the capsules. The high-end of the NT5 just sounds fantastic, and recording acoustic guitars with it is just a blast, especially if you get two and use them as a stereo pair.Well, it depends. Either of them has their specialties. The condenser mic captures more high frequencies and soft sounds while the dynamic mic captures strong sounds and functions well in a live show. Another benefit of the Rode NT5 is that you do not have to bother about the consistency of the mics as there are always inconsistency in the mics of the same model so therefore, when you buy a pair of mic like the NT5, both of the microphones can be adjusted at the same time using the same values. The NT5 is the perfect small-diaphragm condenser microphone for recording acoustic instruments, drum overheads, cymbals, live performances and other sound sources which benefit from stereo miking.

It has 2 small diaphragm microphones along with a plastic bag for each one of them and a wind protector as well.It depends on what you want or what you value and it matters the most to you. The NT5 will be a good choice for you if you do more interior dialogue as it can allow your audio to appear faint. I have had these litte mics for many years. So many of the reviewers have described the matched pair of NT-5 so very well. I use them mostly for XY stereo recording of singer/guitarists. They capture the sound and performance If you’ve ever even thought about getting a pair of small diaphragm condenser microphones, then you have surely read about both the Rode NT5 and the Rode M5, two of the best-know microphones that you will find in plenty high-end and home studios.
