Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 DI-D Classic Manual - Review,
Specification and Technical Data
Review
The Mitsubishi Shogun, known as the Montero in the USA, even merits its own rather interesting entry in Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Pajero). It is the most successful vehicle ever at the Dakar Rally if anyone was unsure about its off-road and endurance capabilities. Given the size and weight of the vehicle the fuel consumption figures are not that bad but with CO2 emissions at 251 grams per kilometre this vehicle won't be at the front of the queue to save the environment. Still, if you have a need for one because you really need an off-roader then they don't come much better in terms of performance and handling. The insurance won't come cheap either and if plans by local authorities to tax vehicles for parking in relation to their damage to the environment spread across the UK you might find yourself digging up the front garden.
