For any Irish Whiskey fan (and to be honest whisky enthusiasts in general), you won’t go for wrong with Connemara. The whiskey distillery and heritage centre will also be conveniently located along Ireland’s prosperous and famous Wild Atlantic Way in Connemara. The distillery was converted in 1987 from an older potato alcohol plant by entrepreneur John Teeling.
