Pineapple is not listed as a note but it is definitely there, so there is no need to worry about that. Many of them are built around a single note like rose or reproduce the essence of a certain place, like Majorca or an ambience, like a fireside on a wintery evening.

I liked the original laventure but thought it lacked the fresh pineapple goodness that aventus is known for. I want to wear my GIT only for special occasions or dates with my wife which I consider a special occasion all the time. It dries down to a fruitier citrus feel from the piercing citrus notes that this fragrance opens up with. I have one of the new batch bottles with the "Intense" sticker - and today I wore 3 sprays total - which completely filled a 25x50 ft PT gym. To Aventus lovers: this lasts WAY longer than the version you get nowadays, I have tested it side by side.

The atomizer sits low on the bottle and releases the fragrance in a wide cone, which ends up spraying the edge of the bottle. I'm not sure what's wrong with my nose compared to all the other reviewers who find it to be much fruitier than woody. Aventus is a far more refined and better constructed fragrance, but L'Adventure performs better for me. EDIT: I forgot to mention that while I compared many parts of this to Aventus, I agree that it is not an exact clone.

If you're a hardcore frag head, you probably wouldn't even consider this over Aventus, but my wallet is grateful that L'Aventure exists. I love your fragrances (I own so many Al haramains) but something is ridiculously wrong with this batch.Still not a 100% naturally smelling but way, waaay more natural than CDNIM and less sweat than Explorer or Aventus. To my nose, it feels like they tried to get somewhere between Aventus and Cedrat Boise, and the result was something pretty good but deceptive to people who want a clone. All that to say, I still need to find a bottle of Aventus to experience, and critique it for myself. The scent brought me back to the original Black XS by Paco Rabanne when it was a monster how strong it was.

I put it in my closet after that and waited for spring, but looks like the juice simply turned bad in about 5 months.I am pretty happy with longevity and silage, but I am not a great fan of the lemon note so I will not go for a full bottle.

I would bet money 99% of people would not tell the difference in a blind test of this and Aventus after a 10 minute dry down and most would probably prefer this because it is stronger. With the onset of the heart note, woody notes are finally added, which together with the dominant lemon try to imitate the strong smokiness of the Aventus, at least that of the earlier versions. I wanted to pick up the fragrance because I have heard great things about it and after owning it the fragrance does smell good, but as I said above this is the worst-performing fragrance I have ever bought.

The first time I sprayed L'Adventure, I was a bit surprised by the strong citrus/lemon scent in the opening. Loads of compliments, so good enough projection to be picked up walking around and being in the same room as others. Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Limited Edition is earth/vetiver/smoke/mushroom heavy and definitely more on dark side while L'aventure is light-airy scent just like Aventus.
