I found that most of the stories that I read had a lot humour in them even though they did not have jokes exactly.

For Carrie, she has her truths to acknowledge but really doesn’t feel safe enough to do so until Mike and Jack provide the opportunity she’s never had. For a man like Mike, who lives for his job, the failure of helping Carrie isn’t the only burden he’s carrying. We keep it honest and make our food from scratch to ensure it’s the highest quality – we don’t compromise on that, ever.It's not that it's bad it's just not what I want when I read a Jade West book as I have read far superior from her than this. With two mediocre male narrators plus a good female narrator, I was tempted to quit listening several times, almost giving up at 73% because I was bored and irritated with their voices. When Michael ends up bringing Carrie for a few days to stay at his place, he sees that needs tough love and some old fashioned discipline and he’s more than willing to deliver. Not accepting help even when Michael went out of his way to help her and then feeling sorry for herself.

This is a really cute story that is fast paced and leads these two characters to a happily ever after together.

The story begins with her watching him run by the house daily and eventually they talk and get acquainted—but his goose is liable to ruin things, so he must be careful. I am hoping to read through her back catalogue given the time to break up the heavier fantasy and science fiction books I have been reading lately. Faolan and Matty had disagreed on their academic theories, but I loved that he was willing to listen and they both agreed that had some preconceived notions about one another. Meanwhile, he and Faith decide to give the relationship thing a go but they have to keep it a secret for now with Faith heading off to university and because her parents still see her as a small child which is regularly reinforced which Faith is anything but a child right now.
