Fitim02/08/2021This keyboard is fantastic for programming! Very well built and it is a joy to work with. To make things even better, the Keyboardco company is really good company that provides top of the range customer support. The Ten-Key-Less version is only a few quid less than the standard one, and if you don't need the numeric keyboard then the full sized keys but smaller foot print of this TKL version is worth the sacrifice of the numeric keyboard. I think I'd only get the full version if I was working with numbers all the time - it's not worth buying on the off chance that you may use the numeric pad. There is a separate numeric key pad, but I don't work with numbers often enough to merit the paying the price for it. I think I would have liked the option to add a wrist rest but just bought a separate one. However, this has totally ruined my ability to type on cheap keyboards... FILCO are renowned for their excellent build quality and this keyboard is really built like a Challenger 2 tank. This is probably the most solid overall feeling keyboard I’ve ever tried. It’s just a shame FILCO decided to go with the pad-printed ABS key-caps, they’re super functional but after over two years of daily typing, they’ve unfortunatley developed that annoying ‘greasy’ looking shine.Congrats to Filco for offering this model, and thanks to MechanicalKeyboards.com for selling it at a good price with speedy delivery :-)

The MX brown switches are perfectly fine for office work. They are noticeable, yes, but they never get too loud. I have added red O-rings to make the key strokes a bit gentler and it worked out perfect! Peter Hamlen12/09/2017I've had this keyboard for a week and it's fantastic. As others have said, it's very sturdy and delightful to type on.

The ninja caps are great, the lettering on the side of the caps is enough to remind you every now and then what is where. You'll probably be surprised how little you will need to look at them.

It’s easily the best keyboard I’ve ever used and for that, it gets a 9 / 10. Get those ABS key caps replaced and the option for a braided cable it’d be a 10/10 from me. For years I used a (now discontinued) Cooler Master Storm XT with Cherry MX Brown switches, until it finally wore out recently. I needed a replacement that would not only be a joy to type on, but would also be something that I could use in a professional setting, and potentially use with workclient laptops which would not allow installation of additional driver software. After quite a search I narrowed down the choice to the Filco Majestouch 2, and I am rather happy with it. The keyboard itself has a great feel to it, weighty base, and the caps are very smooth. I have really fat hands and fingers and have no issues typing on this thing.Robert Dyson13/04/2018Wow. I actually find myself wanting to sit at my desk, just so I can type on this keyboard. I tried the Romer-G before this and the difference is staggering. Absolutely love the Cherry MX Brown and this keyboard is comfortable to type on. Karl29/09/2020This keyboard is replacing a 7 year old QPad keyboard with cherry blue switches that I broke recently. I've had the Filco Majestouch-2 for 24 hours and I'm very happy with it. It's sturdy and is a pleasure to use, and I think I quite like the feel of the brown switches; there's less resistance than with blue switches so maybe my fingers will last longer with this keyboard too. The very first Majestouch keyboard was released in December 2004. The keyboard unsurprisingly sported a Japanese layout and used Cherry MX Brown switches.
