I didn’t see that coming at all and considering this novel was a genuine pageturner with so many things going on, I wasn’t confused or anything. Now, before I get into my review, I want to let you all know about the trigger warnings I found while reading.

She’s incorporating some of the writing elements he wanted her to (gore, whodunit cliches) and it’s bad. Alternating chapters tell a story within a story through Leo, a fan of an author named Hannah, who is writing the story we’re reading. He encourages her to include murder, physical and sexual abuse of female characters, and gory details.i am a dramatic person with a flair for believing everything to be a sign from the universe, so i thought my liking this was ordained. It was fun to guess along with Leo (one of the characters, perhaps a nemesis) as he tossed around theories.
