The one with the red nozzle ring is more closely aligning to the currently popular tuning, the Harman target curve, and the other one is the Simgot target curve with their own interpretation of their in-house and modified Harman target curve. Massive width + good depth you can hear L + R effects closer to the front and main track in center farther back. I reached out to Simgot for this one in part because I saw it online , It looked so premium and well built and it peaked my curiosity so Simgot sent me one and I am sure glad they did and here we are 5 days later 16 Hours in ears and 100 hours burn in. I can’t help but notice the decently concentrated substance within the bass, packed tight as though it has solidity. The internals were housed in a shell chassis made of a solid aluminium alloy with a polished chrome-like finish surface in its cavity base.The treble comes across energetic and airy, with nice pacing and timing and good transient behavior to my ears. The packaging of the EA500 is simple and sleek, with the official frequency response curve printed on the back. The polished alloy shells may be prone to smudging, but their premium construction and comfortable fit make up for it. Brass like trombones sound smoother with sufficient intensity and then the trumpets sound a bit rounded and darker. Overall, the Simgot Audio EA500 provides a distinct, dynamic listening experience that is sure to please.
