It was a pleasure for us to make the show, and I think because of that, it is a pleasure to watch."

Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey on The Office BFFs book

The following conversation is excerpted from The Office BFFs: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends Who Were There by Jenna Fischer (who played Pam Beasley) and Angela Kinsey (who played Angela Martin). This book made me so nostalgic and brought such joy to my Office-loving heart! It was so wonderful to hear first-hand accounts of working on The Office and the bond the cast and crew had. I laughed so much while listening and probably had a smile on my face the entire time. Jenna Fischer is best known for playing Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office for which she received an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress and two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Comedy. If you didn’t watch the office you’re going to be bored though, it’s def not the book for people who didn’t watch. How do the characters on The Office demonstrate self-control and teamwork? Why are these important character strengths? Oh, I loved this book. I listened to the audiobook which Jenna and Angela read, and there are SO MANY FUN SURPRISES! Frequent listeners of the “Office Ladies” podcast won’t learn anything new by reading this book (because they’ve pretty much covered these stories already) but curious fans of the U.S. version of “The Office” will likely find this book to be an entertaining collection of behind-the-scenes stories written by Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey. Appropriately subtitled “Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends Who Were There,” Jenna and Angela recount landing their roles of Pam and Angela, the start of the show, funny stories from filming throughout the show, and its well-done, emotional finale. ⁣ Did you know you can flag iffy content? Fischer's first book, The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide, with an introduction by Steve Carell, was published in November 2017.Receptionist Pam Beesly and accountant Angela Martin had very little in common when they toiled together at Scranton’s Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. But, in reality, the two bonded in their very first days on set and, over the nine seasons of the series’ run, built a friendship that transcended the show and continues to this day. Sharing everything from what it was like in the early days as the show struggled to gain traction, to walking their first red carpet—plus exclusive stories on the making of milestone episodes and how their lives changed when they became moms—The Office BFFs is full of the same warm and friendly tone Jenna and Angela have brought to their Office Ladies podcast. The Office BFFs: Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends Who Were There' by Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey is out May 17. Dey Street Books Read by Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey with exclusive bonus material contributed by Rainn Wilson, Creed Bratton, Oscar Nunez, Brian Baumgartner, Steve Carell, Ed Helms, Ellie Kemper, Kate Flannery and Jennifer Garner. The Office has suggestive dialogue and some mild sexual references throughout. Most of these aren’t severe and they can be considered mild. There is also some blurred nudity that can contain some sexual images (pictures of people having sex, dangling penises, etc.) Here is some examples of suggestive dialogue shown: We hear “That’s what she said” Jokes (usually not too severe), we hear some conversation about “Boning” people, we hear they Michael “did” a girl.”, we hear talk of boobs. The suggestive and sexual dialogue isn’t really much to worry about, and most episodes have none in it.
