Incandescent Arcana: Releasing on September 2nd, this set will lead with Alolan Vulpix VSTAR. It is rumored that it will include a Character Rare featuring popular Alola-based Trainer Lillie with her Alolan Vulpix. AKIRA EGAWA was well-chosen for such an epic connecting art, as his cards have been standouts since his first contributions of a painterly Riolu and colorful Lurantis in Sun & Moon – Unified Minds.EGAWA's first Ultra Rare was the Lucario V from Champion's Path, a standout in a relatively boring set. EGAWA would become a staple of Ultra Rares in the second year of Sword & Shield sets with Blaziken VMAX and Celebi V from Sword & Shield – Chilling Reign, Umbreon VMAX from Sword & Shield – Evolving Skies, and Chandelure VMAX from Sword & Shield – Fusion Strike. Some of EGAWA's biggest chase cards are Mew VMAX Alternate Art from Sword & Shield – Fusion Strike,Zekrom Character Rare from Sword & Shield – Brilliant Stars, and Duraludon VMAX Character Super Rare from Sword & Shield – Silver Tempest. For this specific one, it looks as if Mewtwo is battling someone. I personally like that, unlike the normal VSTARs, we are losing the text box and VSTAR box, getting a full view of this beautiful, unique image. Hatterene is the final Gigantamax Pokemon from Generation 8 to get her own card (unless you count Appletun, which is identical to Flapple). There were fears among fans she wouldn’t get a VMAX card before the end of the Sword & Shield era, as some Mega Evolutions were left out of the XY era. Whenever a player attaches an Energy from their hand to their Pokemon V, put 2 damage counters on that Pokemon. The connecting set of AKIRA EGAWA-illustrated Gold Secret Rares showcases an Earth-shifting scene with the ancient Legendaries of Sinnoh/Hisui. These cards include Arceus, Origin Forme Dialga, Origin Forme Palkia, and Giratina. This is one of two sets of connecting cards within the set, the other one being a nine-card set which we will spotlight in a future installment. This is a collection focused on favorite V cards from the last three years, reissued with brand new—often astonishing—art. It’s going to be an expensive couple of months for Pokémon card fans. Since most of the set contains reprints, this section only contains translations for brand new cards.

This set is the final Pokémon Sword & Shield set and features reprints of many of the most beloved cards from the saga with special artwork Several brand new cards have just been revealed from VSTAR Universe! Up until now, we’ve only seen reprints in the set. VSTAR Universe will release on December 2nd in Japan and will feature reprint cards along with more. More what? We don't know yet. Charizard VSTAR is getting a Shiny version with a special release a month before, so could we get another Shiny Vault subset that adapts the post- Shiny Star V/Shining Fates VMAXes, VSTARs, and Vs to show Shiny Pokémon? I doubt it personally, but there is no way to know yet. Stay tuned as details begin to leak. Gold VSTAR Alternate Arts which debuts this card type for the first time. These include Origin Forme Palkia, Origin Forme Dialga, Giratina, and Arceus. The Arceus is likely to be one of if not the ultimate chase card of VSTAR Universe and Crown Zenith.
