Yes, it is the absolute ultimate in Midway retrogaming, featuring an incredible line up of game titles. Arcade1Up’s Deluxe line is the next obvious step, a one-body cabinet that stands slightly taller than a standard cabinet with a riser. Housed in a cabinet based on Mortal Kombat II, the first three games are included, and selected from the start-up screen.
The most important function of the Mortal Kombat Arcade1Up cabinet is how well it plays the included games. Now, 30 years later, you can explore Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat 3 all over again in your very own, dedicated, decorated arcade machine! The controls are also the same, with an arcade-sized joystick and seven buttons each for two players. It brings up the machine another foot off the floor, just enough to make it playing it comfortable from a standing position. They’re still fun experiences, whether you're trying to perform a fatality on your friend in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, grinding through floor after floor in Gauntlet, or serving root beers in Root Beer Tapper.

The electronic components including the screen, lighted marquee, speakers, and controls, are all their own preassembled panels and sections, and putting them in the cabinet is almost as simple as joining the plain panels. It's a minor distraction, but it makes it look like I was being sloppy in my own craftsmanship, which I can't abide.

Their monsters-wreaking-havoc title Rampage was a giant early hit, and then leaps in live action digitizing technology led to Mortal Kombat, recognized as one of the most important titles in video game history. This home arcade packs a SUPERB punch, with a line up of 14 games, in a gorgeous cabinet that includes a matching riser and light-up marquee. The sleek, single cabinet design and lit marquee give it an impressive look that would add character and class to any room in the house.Extremely minor complaint about visible structural screws aside, the parts and pieces fit together well and I had no problems assembling it and placing it on its riser. Essentially, the only difference between the two models is the Deluxe’s one-piece design and just a few extra inches of height.
