I realised eventually that I needed to change the sound source on my Toshiba TV which isn’t mentioned in the included instructions. The included setup guide is very basic and maybe I’m a novice but after following the instructions to the letter I could not get the soundbar to omit TV sound. While it doesn't reproduce a more extended low-bass than some more premium models we've tested, it does have a more extended bass than the Sony. However, compared to other budget-friendly bars like the Roku Streambar Pro, you can't adjust its treble. I am really pleased and glad I purchased, it's so easy to set up just plug and play and listen to the clear pure quality sound and a good bluetooth mode also. However, the Sony has less compression at max volume, so it's better-suited for use in loud parties.
