Yes this is similar to the original, but this one has so much more depth (even though I do get some depth in the orginal).

Minajesty was, upon last smelling, a linear, revolting synthetic cherry (something that was done way, way better in 2003 by Cacharel) and a total disappointment, but I am still pining for those bottles to adorn my bedroom shelves. One thing i'll say is this is extremely sweet on me and i don't know if i can wear it for that reason, on hotter days it can pick up as 'sour' sweet from the synthetic fruit.but really here is this larger than life personality with the tropical island heritage and like emerging from the clear waters and powdered sand locations as seen on one of her music video clips here is the essence of her personality rolled into a bottle. I own all of Nicki's fragrances and am a fan but I always go into her fragrances or anyone else's with my unbiased opinion.

I douse it and barely get a whiff of it on myself , it’s overall okay but I won’t repurchase and but I may try her Pink Friday perfume because the notes of that one are more my style . This Nicki Minaj scent is just hands down one of the best smelling perfumes I own, and I own a lot of them. Longevity was great, so was silage, and the part i loved the most - the base notes - the crucial core of any frag, as thats what sticks, here i sense lovely red fruits and raspberry in the base. I've found this fragrance to be pleasant but I do have to re-apply once of twice throughout the day. The kind of perfume that when you smell it on someone, and you go "you smells nice" not like "oh dear.A good default to fall back on when you can’t decide what to wear in the summer but just wanna smell “good. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Especially considering my bottle of Sweet Like Candy Limited Edition is running low, and it is now discontinued, it is nice to have something similar to reach for on my shelf.

I took 6 months to decide if I was going to get this or not, because of it smelling similar to other perfumes, but I'm still glad I did, because it's one of my new favorite perfumes, and one I wouldn't want to go without. It does have a slight muskiness to it which is great because you can wear this perfume both during the day and night. I had the bottle boxed in my bag, showed it to her and as soon as she saw "Nicki Minaj" she almost screamed "REALLY? It also has a hidden depth with the tonka beans and musk (which I wish was stronger), which moves the fragrance away from really young teens.Minajesty Exotic lives up to its name with notes of mango, orange, tiger lilies, and lavender, while the deep musk and cedar drydown keep the fragrance grounded. The lips on the 100ml and 50ml bottle are pink, while they are left gold on the 30ml and 15ml bottle. To be honest i have thrown away the cap, as its too chunky for the handbag, but the fragrance itself is very sweet and fresh, lemony notes are beautifully blended with the fruits and flowers. To my nose this is: a sugared lemon (not very citrusy or sharp at all),raspberry, peach in the very light background, vanilla and a tropical scent I think may be from the frangipani.

From the perspective of a young teenage girl I'm certain that Minajesty would be a top favourite among their perfume collections. Its not as long lasting as the actual perfume but the smell is gorgeous and you get a lot for your money. Whether it's almost summer or summer is in full swing, this and Harajuku Lovers Super G (my pineapple go to) are my two fruity favorites!

It smells like a lighter, more playful version of Minajesty, the opening notes are quite sharp, but after a while it gets to a pleasant fruity aroma. i dont really like onika and the original but i like having the bottles to match both of the minajasys.
