About this deal

I don't get much vanilla, but there is a slightly rancid muskiness to the base that somehow works, adding a sensual quality. Please note that parcels weighing over 2kg may be sent via courier due to Royal Mail weight restrictions. I wouldn't normally go for florals as I find they can be a bit basic and/or dated (I'm more of a fruity or gourmand fan) but this one has a very unique quality which I like. I remembered liking it when testing it years ago, but it has a heavy, screechy magnolia, and I remember Curious being so much better. Also for the smell to really flourish, try putting on moisturizer first, or spraying it after a shower or on a humid or rainy day.

For light intensity: spray in a cloud around your head and shoulders, let the fragrance fall gently around you. This reminds me of my mom or grandma because of the floral notes, the Jasmine and Tuberose really stands out to me when this perfume hits the middle notes. Whatever you get to the best parts of this perfume really depends on your body chemistry (and probably the weather)… but if you do… it’s beauty.I wore this perfume during my first real date and consequently my first relationship - you know, the kind of relationship that swept you off your feet, had you staying up all night either on the phone or making out, but it was all a lie and only lasted 2 months and left you with a completely shattered heart of a billion trillion pieces and low self-esteem, and introduced you to your very first therapy sessions for severe broken-heartedness (google it, it's a real thing) and depression? I don’t get either of those from it— I think it smells like good salon shampoo and like a tropical cocktail on a nice summery day in the South. My skin REALLY pulls out the Jasmine in this so it gives me a headache, but the scent itself if far more floral and mature than I remembered it being when it first came out. What caught my interest was the pear, and I wanted to add another floral perfume to my growing collection. Much of my earliest memories involve Britney Spears, from dancing to 'Baby One More Time' in front of our clunky old television to staring longingly up at the Britney-marketed hair and skincare products at the local drug mart.

I would love to revisit this with a fresh bottle in the future, but I don't think I'll ever be able to un-smell the jasmine loaded hairspray. Damn… I recently bought this for nostalgic purposes it was one of my favorites back in the day so I recently purchased it and it came yesterday and I can tell you they reformulated tf out of this fragrance.

It does quite long and is perfect to wear on hot humid days when I want a scent bubble that makes me feel fresh and clean! Please consult your doctor before taking any new product, particularly if you are already under medical care.

To me, the dry down almost smells like Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path - that musky, powdery fresh smell. It doesn't personally ring my bells, but it's not bad whatsoever, and was released at a time where the fragrance field wasn't saturated with endless similar releases. Those qualities save it from being strictly for younger women and teenagers - it’s sophisticated, clean, warm, interesting, and when applied generously, it’s pretty sexy. However, I feel like this can be layered with a sweet, inoffensive body spray if you wanted to combat that issue (maybe something like Minajesty or Sweet Like Candy, so long as the body spray and Curious are both applied lightly)!Very weak and synthetic like a car freshner, not to mention the unacceptable quality of the bottle- really nasty, cheaply made, with the sprayer breaking to pieces on a first use, and the upper part of the bottle coming off. on most days jasmine is my sworn enemy as it gives me an instantaneous headache (but there are a handful of exceptions so I'm assuming it's the concentration of jasmine in a given product that determines whether I can tolerate it or not as opposed to the jasmine itself), but here despite the many different floral elements it never come across as overbearing, thanks to the heavy cloud of sweetness that sits on top. TIME OF DAY: Day - Again, the clean and light aspect of this fragrance makes it more appropriate for daytime activities.

This is a breathy, softly indolic white floral with airy, white musks in the background, allegedly vanilla-like but I'm not sure I detect it. It’s sharp and chemical in the same way the Paris Hilton pink and black striped bottle one is, and as well as the blue Ralph Lauren one (fresh I think? The Curious woman is romantic, independent and mischievous, one who′s not afraid of risk and is aimed at twenty something attitude.I'm sure there's a world of equally wonderful and well-performing cheapies out there, but I'm content with this one. Britney Spears Curious is a soft, sensual, feminine fragrance, with remnants of Britney′s home town of Louisiana.
