About this deal

Masottina is the historic brand of the Dal Bianco family, a reality born and grown in the hills of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. They mention that it makes a very acceptable gift, has a pleasant and fruity flavour and does well with any occasion. By purchasing this product you confirm you are over the age of 18 years old, will recycle the packaging and care about the environment. The remaining grapes are drawn from the vineyards of Solighetto, known for producing Proseccos with pronounced minerality, and Rolle, a northern area associated with wines of striking acidity. Prosecco is Italy's most famous sparkling wine produced mainly in the wine appellations of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene in the region of Veneto which are the only DOC- level zones for ‘Prosecco’.

The vineyard is at home Masottina in Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOC famous and is based on the unique micro-climate grapes of the highest quality. Fresh and lively in its elegance, it reveals hints of citrus fruit whose freshness is almost fragrance. Once you have applied a coupon, the date by which you must redeem it (the "Expiry Date") will be displayed on the coupon. This wine is well rounded and is very soft but dry (extra sugar was added to the wine to create the flavour) perfect with salads and white meat. They also believe in working as sustainably as possible, and this is the first certified organic Prosecco in our range. This Prosecco Spumante from Italy is best enjoyed chilled at 5 - 7°C with cod with cucumber and mustard vegetables, vegetable stew with pesto or spaghetti with yoghurt and mint pesto.

I'm not making fun of these nice people, but it certainly is funny what they come up with when it comes to Prosecco in particular. Fruity on the nose but with a palate that thanks to the glera (90%) and pinot nero grapes gives more tannin than fruit. We’ve got their 95-point Extra Dry Prosecco, praised by Decanter as “silky and seductive on the palate,” available for an extraordinary discount.

The addition of yeast to the wine in a pressurized stainless steel tank allows the still wine to acquire its bubbles over a month period before being filtered and bottled. The Masottina Calmaggiore Prosecco Spumante Brut then matures in the bottle for several months before being disgorged. In short, the subscription product is for wine drinkers wanting to discover new wines and are happy for us to chose for them where the wine club is for those who know what they like and want to have control over which wines they receive. The Italians themselves opt for the dry style and they drink it at noon with a focaccia with spinach or tuna or just as a glass in between. The elegant Contrada Granda Brut Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Glera grape variety.Prosecco grapes for this come from the region of Veneto (Treviso), where they grow on vines about 30-80 meters high. This latter more ‘serious’ style of Prosecco is now gently fizzing again among small artisan producers keen to reveal the true face of their fine terroir; not dissimilar to what’s happened in Champagne in fact, with the emergence of ‘ growers Champagnes’. Masottina is the world-class winery that crafted the first Prosecco to crack Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list. The Contrada Granda Brut Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene from the Veneto wine-growing region has a brilliant, shimmering platinum yellow color in the glass. Located in Prosecco’s Conegliano region of the Veneto, on white marne soils, lie the 60hectares of Masottina’s vineyards.

Fragrant aromas of lemon curd with dried petals, bubblegum and jelly sweet notes over chalky undertones. Masottina’ s Prosecco Brut has a fruity hit of fresh citrus with floral notes, which combine to create a light, pleasant flavour. The winery is the place where our winemaking spirit is fully expressed, vinifying grapes accurately and rapidly to keep them from oxidizing. The finish of this sparkling wine from the Veneto wine-growing region, or more precisely from Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, impresses with its long finish. The wine feels lifted and elegant, without even a gram of excess sweetness—a complete feeling of balance and harmony. Aromas of wisteria, wild flower and citrus lead the way while the dry refreshing palate doles out yellow apple, Bartlett pear and lemon peel. Prosecco is also the name of the grape that forms the basis of the eponymous sparkling wine and many of the best examples contain 100% Prosecco, although Verdiso, Perera and Bianchetta grape varieties which are considered to be of lesser stature, can be used up to a maximum of 15% . Zeigt sich am Gaumen mit sehr kompaktem Körper, Säure und Perlage sind gut abgestimmt, präzise und trocken, wie es sein soll.
