I’m happy to say that snobbery was ill-informed and misplaced as this is a really excellent wine, very drinkable with or without food. Following this is the wonderful flavours of spicy plum, cherry and blackberry that flow through the mouth, resulting in an approachable fruit driven wine with a smooth and mouth filling finish. I bought a little bottle of this wine to try and I was quite surprised it was smooth and slightly sweet , I hate dry wine .
