About this deal

more like a hidden note that whispers from time to time and keeps you wondering about where this intoxicating smell coming from . Obsessed , yes it has a little plastic note latexy ( I like this actually) most importantly , is like 85% similar to black afgano (which I own) I LOVE IT ! This has excellent performance for year round wear, but the sweeter woody profile make it most appropriate for spring through fall or chilly nights.

The oud is blended with the vanilla and other woods so well I cannot pick them completely apart but it is an obvious woody oud it goes with the other woody scents, the herbal note could even be a bit pine-ish. I originally wasn't to sure when I read that many of these middle eastern fragrance need time for maceration, but now I'm a believer. I'm happy with my great deal, though I think this 100ml could very well last me a few years, since it's a one season (perhaps 2) fragrance that only needs a handful of sprays to shine the entire day instead of 30 spritzes I usually need for 3 hours. Atyaab Al Oud inspired by the art of seduction and the irresistible act of getting closer, The unisex Scent is designed to elicit a hidden seductive power that envelops both gender who wears it with a captivating al.My skin is of the very dry, perfume eating variety that loves to boost woody, leathery, earthy, spicy and citrusy notes and prefers to ignore sweet, fruity, floral etc (no mature perfume is ever too sweet on me). I know I’m the only one in the room who will wear this through summer, but where I live it’s just too hot and dry for light, bright fragrances. This is one of my favorite wearable western/eastern oud fragrances (it's slightly more oudy than m7 oud).

I have tested them on test strips right next to reach other, and I am currently wearing both, Lattafa on the left, Replica on the right. Unless you want to compare their differences, which to me are only significant upon close inspection, you'd be good just owning Ameer Al Oudh Intense. And after it dried down completely, which is the best stage in my opinion, it has a strong smell of vanilla and wood and a very sweet pleasant smell which i also got a massive amount of compliments from. And the combination of temperature differences, long travel AND a lack of maceration (or just not long enough) in Arab perfumes makes sure you *could* - here too there are happy exceptions - initially miss out on top notes (always first to be damaged), sweet base notes, or just get a cloud of alcohol and then little else.It combines aromatic, resinous juniper, rich, smoky leather and herbal green mate for an intriguing, heady yet fresh result. just a press-fit (no snap) of nicely clear lexan/plexiglass with three faux gems installed on the top.

In the opening it smells like burning caramel and then turns into Smokey woody and there is no leather in it. Got sucked into the hype and blind bought this, i found it to be a little bit too dry and smoky for me. It sounds like an advertisement :) , but I am very pleasantly surprised after so many years of collecting perfumes. Off tester strips, the dry down on that is noticeably more wet flower, but I actually smelled this strip first and thought it was OdS at first and had to double check by smelling the other. Anyway, to my conclusion- ish: if you like a smoky wood type fragrance and have good experiences with Oudh I can definitely recommend Ameer Al Oudh Intense oud. This one smells so impressively similar ingredients-wise, if you have one, for the most part you'd be fine without the other unless it's a big deal for you to not miss out on their key differences. But I think both Oud Mood and Ameer al Oudh Intense project enough to be obnoxious in any close space like a carpool or elevator and I think inappropriate for most office environments. The opening hits you with a lot of sweetness and vanilla, the oud and woody notes step forward during the drydown and tone down the sugary opening a bit.

I love an oriental frag on a hot summer day, i don't mind the warmth of them at all, so I would consider this to be an all year round fragrance. Khashab al Oud by Bait al Bakhoor is also akin, with the vanilla swapped for a vague medicinal powder. This initial impression is beautifully complemented by a subtle hint of spiced freshness, adding a layer of complexity and intrigue to the fragrance's opening act.

The scent opens up with a sweet, smokey vanilla praline/chestnut accord that lasts throughout the wear. It's got saffron noticeably but it's not screechy, plasticky or off-putting for me like it is in other Lattafa fragrances. Its bold and pronounced sillage weaves a captivating presence, making it an ideal companion for winter wear. Not much to say about this one other than it's VERY spicy, woody, vanillic, enjoyable and a beastly performer.
