My main gripes are the glittery shadows get EVERYWHERE if I use a brush (no problem if I use my fingertip to apply, though) and the fallout from some of the colors is awful.

Whether it’s girls night or I just want to put a little something on to look more alive - this is my go-to palette!

I think the shimmery shades in the Soft Glam palette are really creamy and the colour pay off is better than Revolution. Tempera : Dimethicone, Boron Nitride, Nylon-12, Zinc Stearate, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Zinc Myristate, Glycerin, Silica, Vinyl Dimethicone/Methicone Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer, Caprylyl Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Isopentyldiol, Lauroyl Lysine, Phenoxyethanol, Polysilicone-11, Tocopherol. The undertone is warm toned, which is not my favorite, but I was surprised by how wearable it still was on my neutral to cool undertone.Use the warm matte neutral eye shadows for contouring the crease, and the deep, smoky hues to define. I tend to gently tap my brush into the product - you definitely don't need to swirl it around or dig in - like I said, they're very pigmented and you don't need a lot on the brush to get that payoff. However, if you want something even more neutral and wearable than Modern Renaissance than Soft Glam is a great palette to look into. It’s pigmented, creamy and blends easily, and although eyeshadow palettes may not be as popular as they were, this should definitely be in everyone’s make up kit! Anastasia Soare’s beautiful palettes are always quickly snapped up by makeup junkies, but we particularly love this latest offering of universally-flattering neutrals which are so easy to apply and blend. Her brand catapulted to its celebrated reputation, thanks to cult products like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz and Dipbrow Pomade. A formula rich in pigments that resist wrinkles and fading around the eyes, adding a new look to you. There was a bit of a learning-curve with how these shadows operate (and I'm very unskilled in make-up application), but I have really enjoyed the texture and performance of these shadows and get great use out of them.
