The rums that make up Appleton Estate 21 Year Old are carefully selected by Master Blender - Joy Spence, for their unique character, flavour and bouquet. For that reason alone only a limited number of bottles of this luxury sipping rum are released each year. I know that this sounds mean but I also bought a bottle of Bacardi Gold just in case any visitors wanted a tot of rum.

Produced by the prestigious and award-winning Appleton Estate, with over 265 years of rum-making expertise, this exceptional aged rum is made using distilled molasses diluted with natural limestone-filtered water, directly from the spring located on the estate in the Nassau Valley, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. Despite its outstanding age, the rum avoids being overoaked, with excellent balance between cask and spirit.
