About this deal

You can use these on every type of headlight on the very newest cars on the road today or "Classic Cars" with the old headlights which have line patterns in the glass. Please be aware that we have had a number of reports where drivers have been stopped and fined just for leaving the ‘empty’ mounting bracket on the windscreen! Obviously when you drive your car on the continent, in France or any other European country you will now be driving on the right-hand side of the road (opposite to normal). We sell the original and the best Headlamp Beam Converters on the market today, don't be fooled by cheap imitations, these are the UK's Number 1 selling Headlight Beam Deflectors for driving in France. Legal requirement if you're driving abroad, easy to fit - make sure you clean the dirt off the headlamp lens first - and don't fall off (unless the headlamp glass is dirty or you mess it up!

Thought I'd be cool and paint the headlamps yellow (Halfords actually used sell the necessary stuff). It is the law in France and most other mainland European countries that UK cars fit these headlight beam deflectors. We don't as a general policy investigate the solvency of companies mentioned (how likely they are to go bust), but there is a risk any company can struggle and it's rarely made public until it's too late (see the Section 75 guide for protection tips). We’ve always found them really easy to fit and have also found the instructions fairly easy to read and understand. If your car is not roadworthy (legal), then your insurance company would be fully entitled to void your car insurance. This way your headlights will still be bright, they just won't dazzle oncoming vehicles while driving through Europe. I think your insurance is also invalidated if you have an accident whilst driving at night and you don't have the headlight adapters on. At Halfords, we know that driving abroad isn’t the same as at home, so to make help to make it we’ve created a guide to driving in Europe . If you're an Easyjet passenger who was issued a voucher during the Covid-19 pandemic, you've less than one week left to use it before it expires on 31 January 2024. A: The Eurolites are a legal requirement, as ALL Vehicle headlights will cause dazzle when driven on the on the opposite side of the road to that which they where designed for.

It is the ‘raised’ area marked ‘A’ on the diagram which is used to illuminate road signs etc, when driving on the left in the UK. Francis we Brits have always travelled on the left of the road because as most people are right handed our sword arms would be free to deal with any scoundrel who might be approaching us with ill intent.

All fitting positions have been developed by testing each and every car listed on a headlamp alignment machine, so please be assured they are correct. Headlight deflectors are simple stick-on patches that deflect the beams of our headlights, ensuring that the lights don’t shine too brightly on drivers coming in the opposite direction. A: Yes, our headlamp adaptors are tested on, and have been used with, these headlamps for over 10 years.
