I also wished for more closure at the end, even though I like it when stories have more of an open end. My favourite aspect of IWBFT, my favourite aspect of all of Alice's books, was the depth of her characters who I unsurprisingly love with all my heart.

I’m so glad that this novel was released when i was older so i could reflect on that time of my life. If you’re a public person to come out can be so much worse because everyone and their grandma knows it. I aw other reviewers mention this and I agree with them that the ending was kind of unsatisfying and left a few unanswered questions! His character arc in this book focuses primarily on his anxiety, and his struggle to handle his own mental health in a world where his privacy has increasingly been invaded.

I must say that the ending felt a bit abrupt, considering the pace the book had up to that point, but it doesn’t influence much the vibe it gives the reader. Sometimes you have to put your time, energy, and passion into something other than your “real life” to feel like you belong, and that’s valid. Give yourself something to look forward to that isn’t another person, but a better and happier version of yourself.

For Angel Rahimi, life is only about one thing: The Ark – a pop-rock trio of teenage boys who are currently taking the world by storm.I was surprised about how much I loved it, how much it lifted me from a reading slump and how happy i felt reading it. The book explores the theme of fandom, idolization , fame , way we treat our idols, friendship , importance of friendship, layers of friendship, mental health, alcoholism, LGBTQIAP+ representation.

Just a little mention to the gender too, Jimmy is transgender and that addition to the story brought some interesting talk in regards of the band and fans etc.Here you’ll find anything and everything friendship, bookish and gay, with maybe some writing and film reviews thrown in.
