He really loves his boys and although he has some problems with them, it just made him all the more relatable to me. Brad’s teacher, Jenna Marshall, is sympathetic, and a relationship grows between the detective and the teacher – but both Steven and Jenna are bruised and wary from earlier relationships. I would suggest reading Don't Tell prior to this book so that you will have a better understanding and appreciation for the hero.With two winners in a row, Karen Rose has earned a spot on my favorite authors list, and I'm really looking forward to reading more of her novels soon. Note: Karen Rose has a highly interconnected character web throughout all of her books, and they are considered something of an unofficial series. She's fabulous with all of Stephen's boys, especially little Nicky who was still recovering from the trauma of being abducted just six months earlier ( Don't Tell). I would definitely read this novel again in the future and would recommend this to romantic suspense and suspense readers. As a teacher, she truly desires to give her students the best education she possibly can and always looks out for their well-being.
