Ingot pieces and half-stud spacing with jumper plates give the steps appealing texture and spacing, while several bright colors help to tile the pieces of the mechanism that will be hidden. But they look fine overall – and while they are not as rare as they used to be, it is still nice getting new versions of Fred and George. Comparing these stickers with the tapestry from the movie reveals some minor omissions, but the most important characters are present.

This iDisplayit clear display is made in the UK using 3mm acrylic and is designed especially to house the LEGO 76408 model. I slightly prefer the CMF series 2 Kingsley due to the printed hat especially, but this makes a decent alternative for people who missed that one. I often post separate photos of some of the small mini-models because they look amazing by themselves.Moving swiftly onto Bag 5 we create the first and second floor of Number 12, the exterior is nicely detailed and the interior has a rather grand piano on the first floor and a rather spooky second floor which has two heads on display!

However, for everything that 76408 12 Grimmauld Place offers, particularly based around the two key points – this being the first time we have visited this in LEGO form and it actually functions as it did in the book and film – there is plenty of value and play to be had both short and long term here. Nymphadora Tonks comes with a red hairpiece for she gets angry and her alternate print shows her metamorphing her nose.Its sliding ability is the most interesting single thing to build out of either set, and it is fun to see that fully come together over the course of building the set. Inside, kids can share adventures with Harry Potter™, Ron Weasley™, Sirius Black™, Nymphadora Tonks™, Kreacher™, Molly Weasley, Fred Weasley, George Weasley and Kingsley Shacklebolt™. The hiding function is a massive thing for play in and of itself, while the interior also has pretty good room for play, but some cramped spaces and rooms that lack enough available floor space bring this score down.
