About this deal

The infant Kiss-now for a change of pace from the previous songs, Kate goes more mellow with the ballad of the album, but unlike most ballads this is told with Kate's unique style and kitsch attitude with sound effects while the message still hits as deep as it should with pure emotional resonance, as pure as Kate can be. Bush's dramatics and theatrical approach to singing begin to solidify on Never for Ever, and her style brandishes avid seriousness without sounding flighty or absurd. Over the following week, Bush undertook a record signing tour of the UK including London, which resulted in lengthy queues down Oxford Street.

While an artist may assert their psychedelic inclinations through their music, there’s something uniquely resonant in the use of vivid hues and retro-futuristic visuals, coupled with imagery that frequently hints at multifaceted dimensions. Never for Ever, however, diverges considerably in stylistic diversity, ranging from the direct and energetic ‘Violin’ to the nostalgic waltz of the chart-topping single ‘Army Dreamers’. As a pioneer of theatrics and pyrotechnics, it comes as no surprise that the artwork for many of Kate Bush’s albums evoke that precise level of extraordinary: her debut album demonstrated this beautifully with its depiction of Bush holding onto a large dragon kite, gliding across a vast, all-seeing eye. overall Never For Ever is one of the mst epic albums Kate has done and one of my top 25 favorites, a must for everyone. Never For Ever stands today as being one of the greatest albums ever to be made by an artist, currently i am waiting for Hounds of love to be delivered as that is meant to be her greatest album and i cannot wait until Hounds Of Love finally arrives. Acts like Kate Bush enrich this medium with vibrant colours, intriguing graphics, evocative imagery, and even thought-provoking text – it can hold the power to convey messages and themes that sometimes elude the music itself.

already this is one of my favourite albums of all time after owning it for just a week, Kate is that sort of artist. The first two albums had resulted in a particular sound, which was evident in every track, with lush orchestral arrangements supporting the live band sound. Violin-continuing with mature sound and with the sythesiser effect on her vocals to create more edge with this song, this shows kate with more of a rocker's edge than any other song she has done.I have to admit, I'm totally biased towards Kate Bush, having every album she's produced on Vinyl, CD and MP3.

That Kate Bush rolling around like a squealing 'ninny' like this (Granny imitating her movements from within the sphere) in a great big ball'!

She was very old (being born in Victorian Times) and knew little of Pop Music, but she was startlingly aware of a 'Ms.

Never For Ever wa a much more layered and complex album than Lionheart, and took the characterisations and musical arrangements one step further. There's a much more 'solid' feel to this version, that feels like the original vinyl being played on a VERY good system - the glass breaking/windows opening aren't any more shocking or trebley, but the songs have more 'body' (if that makes sense) and the bass is much more defined - you can really hear Giblin's strings vibrating on 'Breathing' in particular. In essence, this artistic facet offers a distinctive avenue for self-expression that transcends the boundaries of the album’s sonic landscapes. Based largely on this album, Bush was voted "Best female artist of 1980" in polls taken in Melody Maker, Sounds, the Sunday Telegraph, and Capital Radio. Never for Ever was the first Kate Bush album to feature digital synthesizers and drum machines, in particular the Fairlight CMI, [5] which was programmed by Richard James Burgess and John L.To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Even Hounds of Love exhibits a profound sense of tensity with Bush’s voluminous hair and dramatic yet soft purple hues. Bush was keen to start producing her work and felt that this was the first album she was happy with, since it was more personal. kate Bush is a one in a million artist, and that is certainly a well earned title to have, i have always loved her since i heard Babooshka and Running Up That hill, therefore i decided that i will purchase each of her albums one by one. Bush’s artistic inspirations from horror literature and cinema were once again prominently featured on this album, with songs like ‘The Infant Kiss’, which tells the story of a governess who grapples with adult emotions for her young male charge, possessed by the spirit of an adult man.
