About this deal
While motorhome and caravan owners can tuck themselves away to enjoy their favourite shows, sound travels further from tents - so do be considerate! Read on each individual electrical appliance you have to see what the amp rating is then add together what the total is. You should easily be able to read this on the breaker that to us, is the switch that is on the post your plug in to. I'm no expert in voltage and wattage, but I do have an EHU cable and have got to know what I can get away with.
Most points are just a case of pushing the cable into the point but sometimes you have to twist it to lock it in place. These cables with extra USB ports are useful as they free up the 3 pin plugs for your main appliances.
I don't know if it's necessary, but I've always been told not to run two 'hot' things at the same time. As it is a German-made vehicle, one of the plug sockets built into the campervan is a two-pin European socket which connects to the leisure battery.
That said, even on a 10A rated lead, which breaker tripped first would be a complete gamble as both would be of same rating.
The mounting holes are then blanked off by some caps so as to prevent inadvertent contact from the internal wiring.
