About this deal

You may take this bronzer's colour as high as faking a tan, but it still would not give you a horrid orange or muddy look. The news actually broke a few weeks ago but given all that is currently unfolding, I can't say it fully resonated until I had a little spare time to finally de-clutter my beauty stash. Highlighters are my top favourite make up product, and white chocolate is my top favourite sweet food, so just imagine a combination of these two haha! Im not sure if these are getting discontinued but I think I saw a couple of these at the Target at Broadway.

The bronzer is soft to the touch but the texture is really nice, it isn't too soft or overly powdery.Well that's what happened to me when Elly from Ellysmakeupbag commented to me that the chocolate bronzer doesn't seem to be available anymore in the the country she's in, hinting that it may be discontinued. Apply onto the cheekbones and the decolletage with a powder brush to make sure the powder is well blended. I am not completely blown away by this bronzer despite it being highly raved in the beauty community. Although these came out back in July, and it is now heading towards October, I have been holding back on reviewing them for two reasons.

The original was very matte, with that amazing chocolate scent and a great alternative to NARS Laguna.

People would think you’ve had an accident on your face, and really, who wants to start the New Year like that? Initially I thought this bronzer was matte, as they do look matte in the packaging, but this does have a slight sparkle to it. Here's how it compares to my other favourite matte product, Benefit Hoola, which is my HD product for contouring. It’s not good if you want something to contour with, but it’s a good affordable bronzer to add warmth and an amazing smell. It's a shame this bronzer only comes in two, quite dark shades, as it would be great if they also catered for paler complexions who are after a more subtle glow.

I have heard so much about it on youtube, it looks like a great alternative for Hoola to warm up the skin. Fast Forward back to 2014 and a little reinvention of the cult classic and we have two brand new products to add to the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzing powders collection.

Mainly the fact that if you got a tiny bit too much product on your brush and whacked it on your face, you would end up with cheeks permanently dyed a pooey brown. With a light hand, it camouflage with my skin probably because I am naturally warm but when I pile it up, it lean too much on an orange tone. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . I have a very limited experience with bronzers and contour kits because once I find a product that I like I usually just stick with it. I can only assume the shade 51 is a lighter colour than this one so that may be worth checking out if you are very fair.

While in the pan they look kind of similar, swatched you can see it's warmer toned than Hoola, which will be a bonus for some people who find Hoola too muddy looking. It’s a really fine texture, meaning you can properly control the amount that goes on your skin, without having to faff around blowing on the brush to get rid of product. Not only have I been using it on my face for a sun kissed shimmer and sheen, I have been using a big fluffy brush to add it to my décolletage, arms and legs for that Victoria’s Secret glow. This is a matte warm toned bronzer that is " filled with glits of sunshine" - their words, not mine. Before I bought this bad boy, I’d been using the Bare Minerals Warmth All Over Face Colour, which was a fabulous colour, but I did have a few issues with it.
