The putter is less than desirable because there's no milling or insert on the face so, no matter what ball you use, putts have a tendency to slide off the face left or right.

The Strata Set is designed to give you maximum performance right out of the box for more confidence from tee-to-green. This is obviously another cost saving measure and, while it doesn't hinder the experience as much as the putter, it's not ideal. Well suited to beginners, the Stratas also have a regular flex shaft, and there is no stiff option available. It is worth noting that we tested the men's version of the Strata set but we have also tested the Strata Ultimate Titanium Women's Set as well. Often designed for beginners to remove many of the complications around selecting clubs, a golf club set generally includes everything you need to get straight out on the course - a driver, fairway woods, a range of irons and wedges, and a putter.Designed for versatility and forgiveness on shots where you would usually hit a difficult long iron.

Along with the driver and 3-wood featured in the last two sets, the Tour set comes with an additional 5-wood and 4-hybrid. As your game progresses and you start to see and feel the importance of a putter in your golf game, then the Strata putter will likely need to be replaced. Their sets are a little oddly named, as “12 piece”, “14 piece”, and “16 piece” suggests that’s the number of clubs you’ll get. The warranty is considered void if the item has been modified, altered or tampered with by a person not authorised in writing by ourselves to provide service (not including standard periodic maintenance).
