About this deal

We make decisions based on how we feel about certain people and we let that negativity guide our steps.

Goggins explains the reasoning behind his intense drive and in doing so encourages the reader to examine their own circumstances with a view to affecting changes in their outlook on life. Goggins goes further into challenges he had to tackle throughout his life, giving us great advice and actionable steps we can take into our own lives to reach our best potential. It seems like it's just David telling the reader how tough he is, which is still incredibly inspiring, because I can't help but think that if this bad-ass mf is running 240 miles, then maybe I can run a 1ok. Which world class athletes are pushing to the utmost limit for an event and then ending up having to fight to recover for the next year+ just to run again? I've admired Goggins for quite some time now and wanted this book to give me wisdom for overcoming adversity.

Throughout the book, Goggins shares his insights on how to overcome adversity and achieve great things. A lot of people are not rating this book high because Goggins still clearly has emotional trauma that isn't addressed by his physical approach. David Goggins sophomore follow up to his outstanding autobiographical account, "Can't Hurt Me" is on par.It seems to him that is all worth it, but I’d imagine within the next 10-20 years of his life it is going to be one hell of a pain cave just living daily life. Goggins has completed more than seventy ultra-distance races, often placing in the top five, and is a former Guinness World Record holder for completing 4,030 pull-ups in seventeen hours.

If you fail to realise this, then these are opportunities wasted which could/should have been used to better yourself. CAN’T HURT ME, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we have, but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. I only race myself" followed by story after story of a race that he refused to stop because other people were ahead of him or the race he pushed harder because some guy passed him and commented on passing him.Overall, a book I highly recommend if you want to read an inspirational story about a man who has faced many difficulties in life and has come out of it with determination and grit to tell his story. O que realmente me prendeu foi a parte que ele diz para deixar o seu propósito de lado, pois isso pode ser mais uma besteira que enfiaram na sua cabeça. We also learn about the many recent healrh struggles that David went throug since the publication of his first book and his new carreer goals.
