The Crime Syndicates take over, defeat of the Justice League, and then subsequent loss by having Lex Luthor rise up as Earths champion is just fantastic.Lex’s arrogance and ego have always been staples of his character, and having those be the reason he wants to defeat the Crime Sydicate makes for a fun read.

I liked seeing the Justice League getting punished for failing to work as a team, and having to be bailed out by their own villains really taught them a lesson. This character, Grail, has really conflicting motivations that pivot like three times within the climax of this storyline.
