About this deal

This game does run decently on the Nintendo Switch, but it’s far from perfect. It can get a little choppy in places, and certainly isn’t the smoothest racing game on the Switch. It’s nothing game breaking, but worth keeping in mind. Whitehead, Thomas (July 10, 2017). "Cars 3: Driven to Win Review (Switch)". Nintendo Life. Nlife Media. Archived from the original on September 27, 2018 . Retrieved August 25, 2018. There's a fully defined single player career that allows players to play as both the law and the lawbreakers, while also linking the multiplayer modes. In this remaster, there's a focus on the Autolog, which connects you and your friends in head-to-head pursuits and races and delivers challenges based on your friends' activities. There's also cross-platform multiplayer, so you can keep up with friends no matter the platform. Playground: A sandbox mode that allows players to go racing, perform stunts, complete challenges, or just cruise around. [5]

Spangler, Todd (January 25, 2017). " 'Cars 3' Console Video Game in Works From Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment". Variety. Archived from the original on February 11, 2017 . Retrieved February 10, 2017. GRID Autosport was originally released on the Xbox 360 and PS3, and this Nintendo Switch port is one of the best racing titles that the handheld console has to offer.

Battle mode is bigger than ever!

You can play through Super Pixel Racers in career mode or free race mode as a solo player, with challenges dotted throughout each race to put you through your paces. The challenges can include anything from drifting to crashing into other cars. The aim of completing all these races is to earn coins and gears. Coins can be spent on new cars, while the gears can be used to upgrade vehicles you already have in your collection. Given that half the fun of real life Hot Wheels is collecting them, it should be no surprise that it’s also the most enjoyable part of the game, even if it gets a bit loot-boxy. Accessibility Features Gameplay The game itself plays very well, with smooth, intuitive controls and a pleasantly modern take on retro aesthetics. It fits the Nintendo Switch console incredibly well. Virtua Racing offers everything that you could hope for from a polygonal racer. There are standard 5-lap races, Grand Prix races and a solid multiplayer option, where you can play locally using a split screen with up to eight different players.

Each campaign/perspective has plenty of challenges and missions to keep you busy, and you’ll gain notoriety in the form of either a Wanted Level or a Cop Rank. This notoriety level will mean that the game will continue to reward you with new cars to try out and race with. There is a reason Wii U I barely bought any racing games than Fast Racing Neo (I'd have bought Project Cars if it wasn't cancelled for Wii U and did release).

It's been a while since we've had a proper Burnout sequel. While we patiently await the next installment for more cinematic crashes, EA has decided to quench our thirst with a remaster of Burnout Paradise, the open-world racer where up to eight players can enjoy ripping their cars to shreds in high-speed races. There’s also a great multiplayer offering, with both a local and online option. Each one runs well, and is a worthwhile option for your next gaming night with friends.

Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you.
