About this deal

A Christmas wedding in the United Kingdom can be a magical and beautiful event. The lights, the decorations, the food; everything about it can make for a truly special day. But what should you make sure to have at your Christmas wedding? In this blog post, we will explore some of the must-haves for a Christmas wedding in the UK. From the decorations to the food and drink, we’ve got you covered. So if you’re planning a Christmas wedding, read on for some inspiration! A Christmas Wedding in the UK This is such a lovely book filled with love, hardship, courage, frustration and colourful characters. The way Dilly describes everything makes you feel you know the village so well and it is easy to imagine it in your mind. The story is repetitive at times and seemed a bit uneven--I couldn't tell if the author was going for cute or erotic at points, and it was a bit jarring--but overall this was a fun and merry read. I would have liked an epilogue, but I am hoping that since this is the beginning of a series that maybe we will see some of these characters again. I would definitely read the next book. 3.5 stars, rounded to 4 here.

Both sisters are helping to plan their parent’s vow renewal ceremony as the holidays approach. Reggie unexpectedly finds herself crossing paths with Toby who was her first love before she had left and sees those old flames are still burning. Dena on the other hand had given up on waiting for a man for her chance to become a mother but now that she’s pregnant she finds herself falling for Micah, a guest staying at her inn. The First Dance: As your first dance as a married couple is said to set the tone for your future together, why not choose a classic Christmas song? ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ or ‘White Christmas’ are both perfect choices for this special moment. The food served at a Christmas Wedding Gaby had recently received three proposals, all from men she had loved and been dear friends with for a very long time. Jacob, Marty and Tom were her three suitors. So Gaby being Gaby decided on a way to make all her family come together, and that was to announce she was getting married, it would be on Christmas Day, and no-one would know who the groom was (not even the groom!) until they were all in front of the priest! I am late in discovering the greatness of Susan Mallery, this being the third book of hers I have read. Based on experience with the two books read prior to this one, I expected an enjoyable story and she didn’t disappoint. Susan Mallery, author of the Fool’s Gold romances, cheerfully invites you to Wishing Tree, where Christmas comes to life…Mallery created a feel good romance, which I enjoyed from start to finish. The story touched on abuse. It played a role in the decision made by Reggie’s love interest. A decision, which I understood the reason for it being made, however I expected it to change because of his past with Reggie. The language and grammar of the novel seemed professional. But some of the characters (Lizzie & Mike) were underdeveloped. Others were only shown in a one-dimensional light. The big question of whom Gaby is going to marry is teased throughout the book, but not really developed. In the end, her choice seemed random. Neste livro, mantém o seu estilo já inconfundível para mim, com capítulos pequenos e muitos diálogos mantendo a leitura leve e rápida. Começamos a avançar e nem nos apercebemos que já estamos no fim. Gabby not only lets her teenage grandson get away with having/smoking pot not once, but twice in the story. And the second time he is sharing it with his 8 year old cousin! And still she mentions not a word to anyone. I guess if a teenager wants to bring himself down with pot, whatever- but we are talking about involving an 8 year old child here. Surely this warrants some parental discussion between both parties and not sweeping it under a rug?? Reggie still feels a measure of pain from when she and Toby broke up but the two of them are working together on a holiday project while she is in town. Meanwhile, it soon becomes clear as to why Micah might find drawing close to Dena becoming a problem.

Daisy heads to her Aunt and Uncles house (with who she was brought up with) to be informed that after Christmas they would no longer be living in London and would be moving to Little Creek a quant country village. Now, don't get me wrong, this wasn't a bad story, in fact it was rather good and even a little heartwarming and touching but it just.....wasn't what I hoped it would be.A lovely story with a good mixture of characters - some of whom you love to hate and some you adore - THE CHRISTMAS WEDDING is the first in a new trilogy featuring Little Creek. Though I must say the title is a little misleading as it is not really a Christmas story as such...just a story that leads up and ends at Christmas. If you're looking for a too-good-to-be-true story neatly wrapped up like a gift, you'll likely enjoy this one. The story takes place in Wishing Tree, where the residents are committed to making the Christmas season a special time of the year. From the town's traditions, to the shops' names, and the holiday decorations there's truly a magical feel in this town during Christmas time. Wish I could give it zero stars, although it might be useful for authors to read as an example of What Not To Do.
