About this deal

Your TV (for example, those equipped with HDTV) has an aspect ratio of 16:9 (this is a widescreen format, where the width is just about twice as long as the height). Social media has its own set of rules – and each platform will have its own criteria. If you mismatch the aspect ratio of your photo to the one your social networking platform specifies, your image may end up stretched, distorted or cut off. For an idea of what different platforms require, see the figures below (as of 2019). Facebook

But I think there are two things they differ in-one, is the Minolta seems to enhance greens and tans in nature slightly, and I think its 8x40 field of focus holds my interest more, than the more neutral Aculon and its 10x40 shallower field of focus. Just a guess comparing them today. The Aculon seems sharper overall, and possibly the slightly softer view (edges) of the Minolta in combination with its other attributes, makes my eyes just like the Minolta a bit better. I really don't know if that is so, but what I thought before was that it had more contrast, possibly, but I find they are pretty equal there. It may be that I usually use the Minolta when there is more contrast in the natural lighting-early morning and late afternoon, that I thought that before. Exclude: Non-living spaces like garages, unfinished basements, and utility rooms, as they are not typically considered part of the living space. If you shot according to the rule of thirds using a 4:3 ratio, and then needed to create prints with a 3:2 ratio, the composition of the shot may not adhere to the rule of thirds anymore. Read throughout this forum, even in topics that don't appear relevant, and you will confirm what you already suspect. Look especially at Ranger Goon's posts as he works someplace where they are expected to know these things. The advice that we used to dispense here "accept nothing less than an Option 40" is no longer very relevant, especially for 11X, 13F and 68W.

Before the Second World War J A Davis & Co had a store at 94-104 Denmark Hill London. They sold a variety of products includingThe foot is a unit of length, and the square foot is a unit of area. When converting measurements from feet to square feet, you are essentially determining the You might find yourself needing the area of a room or other space in square meters for a flooring, renovation, or landscaping project. To obtain such a measurement, you can measure the area of the space in square meters in a few simple steps. Follow along to learn how to calculate it yourself, or simply use the calculator above. The x:y is an expression of a ratio, so you will encounter different sizes of photographs that use the same ratio. For instance, if you shoot a 6 x 4″ photo, you’ve just captured an image with a ratio of 3:2. If you shoot an image of roughly 8 x 5.3″, you’ve still captured an image with the same ratio of 3:2. Of course, it may be that your house isn't a perfect rectangle. Or, you may wish to only calculate the total square footage of the living space in the house. In this case, you can try the following process:

I would like some input from others here who might know what I am talking about, with bins that you wouldn't normally think they would deliver such welcome, contrast rich views. Anyone have any experience with these Minoltas too? You really want to be a Ranger? First accept the fact that with or without an Option 40, the odds are very small that you make it through the pipeline all the way to a scroll and are much smaller that you will still be there after a few months. You are certain to have enlisted for four years and are most likely to serve those years out in the Army, not in the Rangers. You're trading four years for the opportunity. Is it worth it to you?

If you're looking to install new carpet or flooring in a room, or work out what materials you require for a garden or construction project, you'll need to know how big the area is. This In 1955 Glendenning wrote the forward to a booklet published by J A Davis called 'How to choose a binocular'. For sixpence the booklet looked at the main uses for binoculars: horse racing, Now, thankfully, you can choose whether to change the ratio while out in the field or crop your photos in post-processing. In 1951 Davis' binoculars were once again made in France. They called the new binocular 'Denhill'. The brand was based on the location DENmark HILL. Excellent writeup -- seems the wealth of information out there on this topic isn't so much in the Gravel Cyclist video (not that it's bad -- GC did a great job!) so much as a lot of the operating experience coming from folks giving it a try after watching it.

If you’re planning on printing your photos, you’ll need to know which ratios are required for common print sizes: Proper fraction button and Improper fraction button work as pair. When you choose the one the other is switched off. In 1953, they recruited the sports commentator Raymond Glendenning to endorse the binoculars. Glendenning was well known for his handlebar moustashe. He commentated on horse racingJust enter the size of your print as the ratio in the width and height boxes, just as you did in the example above (for example, 8.5:11). Changing your aspect ratio may also help if you feel you have some extra “room” in your photo (this often applies more to vertical images). A vertical image may be too roomy at a ratio of 2:3, while a ratio of 4:5 could give the photo a snugger frame, resulting in a more appealing composition. A square metre (US spelling: square meter) is by definition the area enclosed by a square with sides each 1 metre long. It is the SI unit of area. It is abbreviated m². Not every job is glorious or prestigious as the tip of the spear, but that spearhead is made hard, sharp and is pointed by and propelled by other (sometimes invisable) Rangers.
