About this deal

Finally, the Death Guard heed Abaddon’s call, with an obdurate if slimy Boarding Patrol led by a Lord of Virulence. He’s joined by a bodyguard of three Deathshroud Terminators, as well as 10 versatile Plague Marines – three of which are taken from the much-sought-after Plague Marine Reinforcements set. The Warhammer Community team has come up with a few of our own sample lists to see what’s possible. Jain Zar leading a relatively elite band of warriors is a scary proposition. This box is a good start for a new Aeldari force and it’s also a good one for Boarding Action games. The tight corridors will benefit the faster moving elements who want to get into close combat while the firepower from the Voidscarred can be surprising. Well, the value is pretty decent, but again, it comes down to whether you need the units inside. If you don’t need a single unit, the box value goes way down. However, if you need everything inside, you get the 10 Acolyte Hybrids for close to free!

Flash Gitz– Ork models equipped with deadly firearms and a variety of flashy, yet deadly, equipment. They are capable of inflicting severe damage on enemy units and can be a powerful asset in battles. Orks love a good krumpin’, and romp across the stars in hurtling roks to find a proper fight. Given the quality of Ork navigation and engineering, it's not uncommon for these belligerent greenskins to wind up stranded on a space hulk – or crash straight into an enemy ship, where they promptly flood the gangways and cargo bays in search of fresh opponents to smash and potential loot to claim.Far from being a preening noble hiding up in the Spire, Lady Haera loves nothing more than getting her hands dirty with a masterwork power spear and a phase sword. She’s a terror to face – so make sure she’s on your side when she arrives on Saturday. Miniatures Material: Plastic (Please note all miniatures come unpainted as new – some assembly is required) Currently, while we know the prices for most of the boxes, we’ll also have all of the new boxes listed, value-wise, for you below! One more thing to note, these are all valued with the updated 2023 GW pricing. Although they’re a Heavy Support choice, Orks can take a unit thanks to their special Mustering Rules . Timed to match nicely with the release of the newest Arks of Omen: Farsight book, this boarding patrol includes an impressive force of fighters all ready to slay the enemy "for the greater good." This box includes all the sprues you need to build the following: 1x Commander Farsight, 3x Crisis Battlesuits with accompanying gun-droids, and 10x Fire Warriors.

Armed with the devastating Snazzgun, a Heavy 3, S6, -2 AP gun (in layman's terms: it hits hard), they're like a crew of walking mini-tanks. And the leader of this crew can also wield either a pistol or a melee weapon, though the physics of how they're able to hold all of this gear is suspect (I guess we just have to believe it'll work, and it'll work). Do other Orks look at the Beast Snagga Boyz and think 'they're really doing too much'? The Balefleet Battleforce is a contingent of corrupted warriors comprised of 10 Possessed , five Chaos Space Marine Terminators , and a Heldrake , all led by an infernal Daemon Prince. A heady mix of daemonic power and debased Astartes ceramite, this Battleforce is the ideal way to throw in your lot with the Warmaster and start scouring the galaxy for the keys to victory.Next up are the T'au Crisis Battlesuits. These suits are tough, heavily armed, and have a 10" movement speed (with flying), making them an extremely mobile unit for such heavy firepower. I absolutely love building these units, as there's some room to pose their arms in a variety of ways for great flexibility of visual style. They also look so cool flanked by their small horde of drones, which can be kitted out to be Shield Drones, Gun Drones, or Marker Drones. All of Snikrot’s parts fit on a single small sprue and the model is placed on a 40mm base. As usual for character models, Snikrot is monopose without any posing options. The model has three head options though, a bare head, a face wearing night googles, and another head with the night vision device pushed onto the forehead. There is also an optional smoke grenade for the base. Boss Snikrot sprue What makes Kommandos an inspired choice for a Boarding Patrol is their Kunnin’ Infiltratorenability, allowing them to deploy anywhere on the board, as long as it is more than 9″ away from enemy models and deployment zone. This will give you the advantage right away – you can plop your Kommandos on unclaimed objectives out of both your and your opponent’s reach. Either that, or surprise them with the gift of Throat Slittas – meaning if you are within an inch of a terrain feature (so hug those walls tightly), add 1 to wound rolls. If you prefer to stand in the middle of a crowded corridor, you can have your Distraction Grot come out for once per battle and the Kommandos are treated as if they are within an inch of terrain, allowing you to capitalise on their unique abilities no matter where they are placed on the board. The immediate difference between the Boarding Patrol and other Warhammer 40,000 Detachments is that nothing is compulsory,” Rich explains. “It’s perfectly viable to take no Troops or HQs whatsoever, allowing lists to lean into clear concepts like an all- Navy Breacher force, or take nothing but Khorne Berzerkers – the gentleman’s choice.”
