The all-new bonus content for Five Nights at Freddy’s gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the iconic animatronics and recreating the immersive world of the game. In the wake of I Know What You Did Last Summer hitting 4K Ultra HD last year, sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer is getting its own 4K Ultra HD upgrade this year. This has been remixed and remastered for sure. Dialog volume is balanced perfectly. Height effects and surround sound is noticeable right away. Music is above me and around me. Also, very early on I heard some deep bass. This movie has been remixed for modern home cinema, and for people with subwoofers because the bass is excellent. It's 100% been re-tuned from the old Dolby True HD mix. I love it! I wish all Atmos remixes also improved bass like this. Most just keep the levels the same, and mix sound above and around. This sounds good, but this movie has been completely rebalanced, and why not eh? Collection of 7 deleted scenes, presented in very rough, fuzzy, low def quality (there’s even a disclaimer beforehand stating that the quality doesn’t reflect the filmmaker’s final work). While it’s a sweet moment, the film makes the smarter choice, efficiently reducing all of this dialogue to a meaningful look shared between the two. studios, making various scenes, adding some teeth to the film, shooting locales, set anecdotes, and much more. The story, which is based on a novel by Lois Duncan, revolves around the events one night as a group of four friends prepare to say goodbye to their high school lives and go their separate ways. Driving along the coastal highway in the middle of the night they hit a man and freaking out because of his alcohol consumption, the owner of the car (who wasn't actually driving it) persuades his companions to dump the body. tone transforms from what looks like sun pouring in through the window to something much darker and tonally reserved. The change is radical, but it The 4K disc includes three new bonus features—5 minutes of deleted scenes/ alternate ending, a new 30-minute interview with the director, and a new 15-minute interview with star Muse Watson. The deleted scenes are in rough shape, looking almost like a VHS copy of a copy, but it’s still nice to see them included. The two new interviews are a welcome addition, though it would have been great if they had been able to get the four main cast members as well. None of the bonus material from the previous home video releases has been ported to the 4K disc. However, the included Blu-ray disc is identical to the disc from the 2008 release, even down to a dated promo for Blu-ray that plays when the disc loads. The Blu-ray contains contains an audio commentary from the director and editor, the short film the director used to land the job directing this movie, a 27-minute documentary from 2003 on the making of I Know What You Did Last Summer, a music video, and the film’s theatrical trailer. The 4K and Blu-ray discs reside on either side of a standard 4K keepcase, placed inside a glossy carboard slipcover. An insert provides instructions on how to redeem a 4K Movies Anywhere-compatible digital copy of the film.

history of the film's home video performance, which to this point has been disappointing at best. Both the original Sony and the later Mill Creek Sony’s 4K discs are beyond reproach. They’re lovely to look at and I know that whatever the title, if it comes from Sony I can expect good things. And that’s nice since Jennifer Love-Hewitt spends the majority of the film in a variety of tank tops that appear two sizes to small to keep her, uh, “endowments” in place. Hey, this isn’t a complaint. Kidding aside, though, this does look pretty good. The film is now 25 years old and with the increased color and resolution of the 4K disc, it looks pretty darn good. I noticed no artifacting or grain, the HDR gives the final act a bit more “pop” in those darker scenes. The movie might leave a lot to be desired, but this is far and away the best it’s ever looked. Audio: How does it sound? Originally produced for the 2003 special edition DVD release, the cast and filmmakers talk about the genesis of the movie, casting the actors, balancing horror and humor, finding the right twists and turns for the story, working with the director, and more. They share a lot of behind-the-scenes stories about the development and evolution of the production. Includes clips, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with director Jim Gillespie, producers Stokely Chaffin & Erik Feig, writer Kevin Williamson, and stars Jennifer Love Hewitt (“Julie James”) & Anne Heche (“Missy Egan”). Presented in 4:3 full frame format.
